Spoiler: Shen Weiyin and Shen Family downfall If I recall correctly, there were two downfalls with regards to Shen Weiyin. First was the rumor that spred in the gossips columns of the entertainment circle that MC was the third party between SW and ML. The rumor was that ML and SW were childhood sweethearts and loved each other very much. But SW would not settle down until she was a well known actress while ML would wait for her for years. But MC came along, ML got drunk and got her pregnant. So MC theatened the Lu family and thus she married into the family making SW and ML into miserable lovers. It was circulating in forums, tabloids and magazines that MC was the small three or third party between the couple. It was also said that she was a vicious third party who stole someone else's man. When MC heard that rumor from her sister. She went directly to the company and brought food for lunch for her husband with her baby in tow. When ML found out that she was there. He went down in front of the building to personally escort his wife from the car to his office. This quieted the rumor in the company and showed that he really loved his wife. When she told ML about the rumor, ML was so angry, he ordered the public relations department to settle the scandal and clarify the situation and cancel SW's contract. On the same day after lunch, SW came to renew her contract about a perfume endorsement because it was about to expire next month. She could have asked her agent to do that but she wanted to talk to ML. She actually situated paparazzi in front of the building so that the rumor would escalate. But instead she met the director of public relations who told her they were terminating the contract. Just then MC came along. When SW asked why she was there. MC told her, she had every right to be there because she was a minority stockholder who had 10% shares of the whole company. SW tried to delay the contract termination saying they had not made a contract terminating the endorsement but MC said that since SW's lawyer was already here, they could do it now. After that they talked about the rumor circulating around about ML and SW and how SW's reputation was tarnished. MC talked about the childhood sweetheart rumor. SW smugly replied that she should asked ML instead. MC told her she did ask ML and he told her they had never been childhood sweethearts. SW with her agent, lawyer, and other people listening in on the conversation, had no choice but to confirm it was fake. MC asked her if the rumor of the 10 year pledge to wait for each other was fake and this was also confirmed by SW to be fake. And finally the rumor about MC being an upstart little three who came between SW and ML was also confirmed by SW to be fake. This later led to the discussions that the rumors were nasty and ridiculous and there was no need for SW to clarify because they were family friends and it was ML who would clarify it. The next day, ML published a clarifying statement stating that the rumors were fake and demanded that all forums tear down these gossip. Some didn't so they were sued by ML. ML published in a well known magazine the recording of MC and SW's conversation. SW's public relation group had no choice but to confirm that it was all a nasty rumor and there was never any relation between ML and SW. She, thus lost her endorsement contract in the company and the rumors on the forums were deleted due to legal action. Now there were speculations that SW actually spred these rumors herself. Second was when grandpa Shen barged into a board of director's meeting and accused ML of committing crimes using the evidence he got. It was later found out that the evidence was false because ML listened to his wife and never committed a crime. When grandpa Shen tried to apologise saying it was just a misunderstanding, ML merely smiled. But this incident already spred throughout the business world. This marked the end of the friendship of the Shen and Lu families. They were now business rivals. All cooperation between the Lu's and the Shen's were terminated. The Lu corporation withdrew all assets, technical help and investments injected by the Lu's into the Shen corporation and all projects were suspended. Without the support of the Lu's, the Shen corporation collapsed. No bank would like to invest in them. It didn't help that the management was chaotic because it was filled with nepotism. This scenario had an effect on SW because the Shen family was actually the one that gave the resources in her actress career. Now that her family's company is bankrupt she was no longer protected by the Shen family. Grandpa Shen feared that she would be bullied in the entertainment industry later on. In her last ditch effort, she came to a banquet to meet ML. She tried to approach him but he was indifferent to her. While there, ML got a little drunk and he was helped into a hotel room. When he opened the door, he was greeted by a naked SW in bed. SW was so desperate she was willing to be a mistress just to save the Shen family. When the ML smelled the strong perfume that was not MC's, he got completely sober. The naked SW hugged ML but he just pushed her away. He walked towards the door but she hugged him again from behind. Telling him no one will know not even MC. But he pushed her away and told her to look into the mirror to see what she'd become then he left and went home. SW was still there in the end. She lost a lot of endorsements but she's struggling and no longer that proud.
Pretty sure there are only 2 timelines: Timeline 1: Novel timeline. Enough people have given a rundown of it. Important bits are that despite actually living miserably at home, orig YZ lived glamorously in public and the family played nice on camera. LZ eventually built his company up, but it took years of work and struggle on his and YQ's part and even then they weren't as wealthy as the Le's until the fall of the villains and LZ took over the company. No exact years are given, but I got the impression we're looking at 5-0 years before they got comfortable. Timeline 2: Current timeline. YZ is replaced by our MC transmigrating into her body. She avoids the mistakes of the original and as she is a completely different person she is actually well liked by LB and the Le family (orig YZ's circumstances are pitiful, but when the story starts she's let her bitterness turn her into an unlikable person). YQ reincarnates, but its the YQ from before the end of the story. So she basically focused on the glamorous public life and was ignorant of how it all collapsed in on itself later. On the rape thing, its a bit squirrely. YZ was fubar and initiated things. In that circumstance the onus would be on LB to put a stop to things. Except at the time he was bedridden and couldn't physically do so. We don't actually see the scene so we really don't know the details, how quickly he capitulated or how insistent she was, etc. LB does deserve the blame for not coming clean the next morning or soon after, even if he had reasons for needing to play dead. LB does not sleep with her other than that one occasion though. The hickies are from him, but as a result of him being very frustrated because YZ tends to cling and curl around him in her sleep. Which is still iffy. All the rest is a red herring by the author.
Lu Beichuan is one of my favorite MLs in C-novels. From a villain he changed himself to a better person, all just by an advice by his wife. He also didn't force her to accept him, instead he slowly pursued her

Sorry got the late response. A few of the fluffy moments are when the sister was asked to get out of the wedding dress, she ripped it up hoping to ruin their wedding. ML was like, i would never allow MC to wear anything second hand, and brought in an even more amazing wedding dress. Also, when MC got the jade bracelet from LZ, he got her an even better one, saying that my wife can only wear jewelry from me. They don’t confront the uncle. In this life, the uncle didn’t really interact with them a lot except with the incident with the son. In this life, he didn’t see them as evil, so he didn’t bother with them.

I already finished reading the mtl. I can't give a definite answer for number 1&2 cause there're many that i skip through and the mtl is a bit confusing. But I can assure you that Lu Beichuan and Ye Zhen's married life is so sweet, there's no useless misunderstanding whatsoever 3. Later, Ye Zhen will be pregnant again. It's a twin, boy and girl 4. After Ye Zhen gave birth to the twin, Old master Lu's youngest son, Lu Shaoyan (Beichuan's uncle) *i forgot his namesuddenly sent a lawyer to give all his property to Ye Zhen's three children, and he go traveling around the world. After 1 month, Ye Zhen is finally discharged from hospital, she and Beichuan with their children then go back to their home and... The End Sorry if my english is bad. It is more from ML 1. On the party where YQ supposed to play piano to impress other people and she failed and then LB played the same song and success. The pianist came and chat and sweetalk to YZ right in front of LB, LB then tightened his hold to his wife 2. When YZ tried to build idol group there is someone photo of her with those young idol. LB call the manager and ordered his wife to be not in one photo with any idol 3. This is actually from the son: from LB's mother POV, YZ son is very clingy and fussy if there is YZ, but when YZ is gone from his sight he is as cold as his father to other people
One of the scandals Ye Qing experienced was when she was photographed exiting a club where hedonist second generation rich men go. It was an uproar because Ye Qing and Ye Zhen were identical twins, many speculate who was really in the picture. Another one was the piano incident during the birthday party of the Mayor's wife where Ye Qing ruined herself in front of everyone. A video about the humiliating piano play circulated the internet and many believes that it was Ye Zhen who played the piano that resulted for Ye Zhen's videos from high schools to be edited as a horror flick and uploaded online. Later, when it was cleared that it was Ye Qing playing the piano, many mocked her. After that, Ye Qing didn't return in the entertainment industry because the Lu Corporation bought the Chaoxun Entertainment company where she signed her contract and never given any works and she didn't appear in public again. Ye Zhen eventually fall for ML after all the efforts of the ML but she was in denial at first. She thought the reason why the ML was good to her was because of their son. Since she gave birth to his son, that's why the ML treated her well. She based this assumption from the novel and the contract that they made after the ML intercept her escape the second time. What do you mean by active? If it is sexual, the ML muster his utmost self control because he wants Ye Zhen to fall for him first before they do the deed. They got a boy and a girl. The ending was when they got home from the hospital after Ye Zhen gave birth to the twins. Kinda sad because I'm hoping for some side stories but unfortunately, no epilogues or side stories. Actually, there was no confrontation since that Lu Shaoyan's main goal was revenge against those who framed his mom which was the Shen's family. He also wants to destroy the Lu Corporation since it was the legacy of Granpa Lu but since the ML didn't do any illegal after marrying Ye Zhen he can't accuse him of anything without evidence. Also, I think his interactions with ZhouZhou (ML's son) made him change his plan in destroying the Lu Corporation. He believes that Zhouzhou is the only good person in the Lu family and let go of his revenge. I really think there are 3 timelines in the story based on the POVs of Ye Qing and Ye Zhen. (I think someone clarify this already but can't find her/his post) 1. First timeline - the original novel. Orig Ye Zhen blackened her heart and revenge against Ye Qing through flaunting her riches. ML hated Orig Ye Zhen and indifferent to her but he didn't divorce her because she gave birth to his son. ML did all illegal things, their son gave the bad ideas, and Orig Ye Zhen indirectly involved to it and ended up in jail. 2. Second timeline - transmigrated MC, the ML fell in love with her, they got a son and live harmoniously. The scenes where Orig Ye Qing saw MC and ML intimate with each other. 3. Third timeline - reborn FL, tried to change her fate but failed. I think the reason why there is a confusion is because the 2nd and 3rd timeline overlap(?) with each other. In POV of Ye Zhen, this was her first time, transmigrated right after Ye Zhen enter the Lu's household. She remembers the novel and what would happen so she acts according to what she knows. In POV of Ye Qing, this is her second chance in life. She saw the good life of Ye Zhen in HER past life. With riches, cute son and intimate relationship with her husband. So if we put the POVs of Ye Qing and Ye Zhen side by side there were 3 timelines - the original novel (what transmigrated MC knows about), Ye Qing's past life (where Ye Zhen had a good life) and the current timeline (where our transmigrated MC and reborn FL met) Because it is kinda impossible for Ye Qing to saw intimate relationship between Ye Zhen and Lu Beichuan if it was the original timeline. In the original novel, Lu Beichuan fell in love to Ye Qing even though he has a son with Ye Zhen and didn't divorce her. That's why he suppressed Lin Zhan (Orig ML) because Lin Zhan and Ye Qing were couple and wants to get Ye Qing attention. Also, in the original novel, it is said that Lin Zhan started a company and Ye Qing made it in the entertainment industry. But in what Ye Qing remembers when she saw Ye Zhen after many years, she and Lin Zhan were in poverty, struggling in their life. Lastly, in the original novel, it was revealed that Lin Zhan was the half brother of Lu Beichuan when he entered the business world but Ye Qing was shocked when Lu Beichuan's father brought Lin Zhan in Lu's household and told them he was his illegitimate son. Ye Qing was shocked and mad because in her past and current life, Lin Zhan never told her that he was part of the Lu family. With these POVs from Ye Zhen and Ye Qing through the novel, I really think there are 3 timelines in this story. It is not that obvious (I think) since the other person didn't know what the other person has been through like Ye Zhen didn't know that Ye Qing was reborn and Ye Qing didn't know that Ye Zhen was transmigrated so they can't compare the events from each other, I guess In the rape thing, it's a tricky part actually. They said that it is rape if no consent but if one party didn't stop it, is it consider a consent? I think that's what happened here. Ye Zhen jumped to Lu Beichuan due to drunkness. He didn't stop her maybe because 1. he got aroused as well, 2. afraid that his faking his coma will blow up or 3. his legs were paralyzed due to car accident that's why his movement was restricted to stop her fully. Whatever the reason, they did the deed. Once. As for the dream, I believe that was the effect of deep sleep to Ye Zhen. They are people who dream when they are in deep sleep. For the hickeys, it explained by the doctor friend that it's more likely allergic reaction from the drugs. And I think that's where the part the ML clarified that they only did the deed once and he's not taking advantage of the sleeping pills. And when the MC got pregnant and confirmed that she was one month pregnant, she remembers the one time she jumped on the ML. Same with the ML when he heard the news, it matched with the first time they did it. So I hope it cleared the rape thing.
Spoiler: Their second time If you don't count her pregnancy period and only after the birth its 2 years it was after the kidnapping incident and at night when ML rubbed medicine oil on her wound, after rubbing for a while both get into the mood and do it. She gets embarrassed in the morning and when the mother-in-law ask why she is tired MC said because of work but her scarf fell down and then she understood not to ask anymore. Spoiler: MC kidnapping She was kidnapped right after she worked overtime. She went into the car and her father got in too and after talking the loan sharks got invited into the car too. ML get a call from the MC and says Mr. Ye (her farther) kidnapped her. MC called loan shark boss and told (who owns him a favour) and told them to protect her. Then Mr. Ye stabed the men and held MC with the knife and MC was cut in the neck (she was scared and ML latter comforted her). Mr. Ye told them this was a misunderstanding but no one listen to him. Spoiler: Mc father after kidnapping He was sentenced to jail for 7 years, there were enough evidence and he pleaded guilty too so he can be save from loan sharks Spoiler: How she got pregnant 2 time She got drunk in the party to the success of their film, she was driven home. There they talk out and MC says what she has on her mind that she is insecure and latter that she loves him too and got home with ML who was vomited on. Mc got bold and jumped on ML. She got embarrassed when she recall her behaviour and things she said in the morning. Funny thing in that chapter when mother-in-law went to give her soup she heard noises in their room and when the little child asked why she wasn't going in she said their parents making his younger siblings (he was happy then). And in the morning he came and asked about their 'making' and where his sibling are. He got slapped in the but by his mother Spoiler: Last scene of Ye It was after MC gave her statement agains her father and when she go out outside they confronted each other. Ms. Ye said it was her sister place and she should not given birth to her etc. sister only denied those statements. Mother then in the webchat insulted her but no one listened. Spoiler: Lu company star actress After she had heard she was pregnant she called her lover but what came back other woman voices latter she had a miscarriage (4 moths pregnant) and cut down her ties with him. Then he blacklist her from the industry. After he learned (5 years latter) why she left him he wasn't so determined but still pursued her. But she has has given up on love Spoiler: Giving birth She was so scared after her first and was one of the main reasons she didint want to do it again but she kept the children because it was from ML and he was very happy to hear that. When she found that she would get a ceaser she was over the moon with happiness. Spoiler: ML uncle He got revenge on who driven him and his mom (she died of cancer 2 years latter) away and who caused it, he went to travel. He left the company alone because of the MC child. He gave up the inheritance to MC twins. Spoiler: MC child kidnapping He and ML went to the party and the child got tired. ML led him to the sofa and put a servant to look after him. His uncle came they talked how his father doesn't love him and how they should play the game of him finding him to see how much he loves him. Latter after he gets back to his father he knows he did wrong and ask for forgiveness and stood few hours near ML study. Spoiler: Some moments MC likes to seduce him to just put him off but some times it backfires. If not for their child their second time would be way earlier. After the child's corporal punishment mother-in-law ask if she needed to be stricter with him because he is so spoiled when he is not near the ML The ending scene was quite cute. Mc said it was annoying to see him every time she wakes up but she ask to anoy her the rest of her life. ML agrees. One time their child asked ML to sleep with his mother so he could sleep with MC. Mc laughed.
