I'm surprised they just don't lock the "lewd" content behind a code/ending condition like other developers. Then, the customer can unlock it during a second play-through or something.
Indeed when i played the game on PSP many years ago..... It does have lewd elements in it but i don't consider it as too lewd
Even though it started as a porn visual novel. It's funny though, as people aren't forced to play lewd games, they can even put it in the options 'lewd level' right next to gore level. Got into a whole argument online over final fantasy 15 at some point, how 'Cid' s daughter was too lewd and objectified women and how having only 4 dudes as playable characters was sexist etc. etc. (funny thing was, after asking if they'd play the game at all 'no i don't like games') Meanwhile it's just modern fashion , i mean teen icons wear worse things than that (or less things). It's kind of like how Resident Evil got under fire for having black zombies when it took place in an aboriginal african village or recently the persona 5 issues with the 'homosexual' duo chasing one of our dudes around. 'this makes gay men look like child rapists!'. Seriously, we play these games and aren't even aware of most of the things people point out as being 'deviant'. Meanwhile it's alright growing up with grand theft auto where you beat a hooker with a baseball bat and take her hard earned money. (this is where pc is superior to console, and it's much easier to mod your game to go around censorship, or even adjust the lewdness to your tastes with a nude mod.)

Yeah that's some childhood memories from personal experience. Not long before that we had things like Carmageddon, that got censored so they'd be zombies instead of humans or even completely banned in certain markets. Even though it's pixeled as fuck. Have you seen the fatalities in mortal kombat recently? The more graphics advance, the more gruesome it gets. Yet a nipple is obviously worse. If you want a good laugh try finding 'parents react to fatalities' or something on youtube lol. This is also being cracked down on i guess. It's one of the reasons i much prefer persona 4 golden over persona 5/royal. You could gain costumes and i replayed the game like 3 times to get everything, including 'sexy outfits' that weren't even that revealing. With graphics getting better, they can hardly get away with bikini's nowadays before people yell 'but they're in high school!, child porn!' That alongside with the DLC exploitation on the rise , where you start the game with 20 meaningless outfits as you didn't 'earn them' , and another 20 that you have to pay for in a package. I feel like second play-through is just dying out and the whole 'pay to get it in advance' (or at all) phased out the 'hidden' content fanservice/easter eggs.
Mortal Combat fatalities ahh yes my parents would most likely laugh about it especially my father but it's different story if it involves some lewdness in it (Catholic Family yo~). Luckily for me i was born during the famicon, ps1 etc era in those days there weren't much lewd games for me to play or people who complain about it.
All porn in Fate Stay Night is about 4 CGs and 1 hour of reading in total (it is more than a 100-hours-long game), there is barely any sex content in Saber and Rin routes. Having only 4 dudes as playable characters is not sexist, it is gay. I prefer it when all my party members other than MC are "sexualized" cute girls, lol. One of the reasons why I loved Persona 5 - you can date multiple girls at the same time and you can have a full female party. The vast majority of people who play video-games consistently are men who are 15-35-year-old, many of them started to watch porn when they are 11-13-years-old. People who give a fuck about censorship not being strict enough don't even play those games. Age restrictions and sexophobia are such a bullshit.
Amen to that. Personally i disliked the sausage fest vibes, but it's intended to be 'bros on a roadtrip' kind of vibe. Personally i just want the freedom to choose , like final fantasy 7 where we had the option to go with MC and the rest female or whatever. I also enjoy the freedom to date whoever i want, instead of forced romance drama like in final fantasy 9 and 10 mostly. I try to find games that have these functions but they usually are very low in quality in any other aspect, other than dungeon crawler monster girl games. Where you know what you're getting into. p.s. especially the older final fantasy games were cute, where you could assign roles to a character and their outfits changed, like berserker waifu, dragoon waifu, white mage waifu etc.
