There is a fairly high likelihood that 1000 years from now, most of us won't be remembered by anyone (humans don't live for that long and most of us are very ordinary and won't be in any history books).

A couple months ago, I was visiting this temple during my vacation, and they had these bricks for peace (kind of like this). Basically they're bricks with some text engraved on them, something like: "...In memory of..."

Anyhow, suppose that the Magical Girl of Memory and Remembrance appears in front of you one day and tells you that you get 200 characters (~40 words) that you can write down and be remembered for forever. Because she is magical, anyone who is examining your family tree (i.e. your descendants) can find out what what your eternal 200 characters were simply by wondering about it.

For example, William Shakespeare is dead, but in this universe, anyone could think to themselves: 'I wonder what Shakespeare's last words were?' and then those 200 characters would magically appear in their head.

    A. What would you want your eternal 200 characters to be?

    B. Whose last words would you want to know? (i.e. Gandhi? MLK? Napoleon???)

    C. Would you feel weird about anyone being able to examine your eternal words?

    A) Those who do the most to improve the world don't care about being remembered, so do what you can to improve the world. Forget about being remembered. If you do enough you will be remembered whether you want to be remembered or not.
    B) Maybe Socrates, but there are a lot of people who have been lost to history that would have more interesting things to say.
    C) A bit, but since I would already be dead I don't think I would care.

(A)I'm an average person who tries to improve myself in any way. I don't care about being remembered or having a legacy. If I can live happily with myself, and help a few here and there, I will die satisified.
(B)Any old man or woman who have died.
    (C) No. I'd probably be too busy reminisicing and cultivating inner peace in death.

No one would even remember, lol.

    B. Whose last words would you want to know? (i.e. Gandhi? MLK? Napoleon???)
None, like the hell I care about those dead guys.

    C. Would you feel weird about anyone being able to examine your eternal words?
How would they examine something that is basically nothing.

    1. Remember to burn your porn, destroy your computer, and get rid of your toys. That's my best advice for future generations. Also, that's $2.00 for my advice. Pay up. Dead people still need money.

    2. God.

    3. Nope. Good advice is important.

If you hear this, please heed the last will of this poor me and read One Piece and Akatsuki no Yona! (This way I can contribute in keeping this magnificent era's culture and beauty alive (or rather convert even people from the future to my religion))

    B. Whose last words would you want to know? (i.e. Gandhi? MLK? Napoleon???)
Walt Disney, Leonardo Da Vinci, Jesus, Bouddha, Virgin Mary and my relatives's (grand-parents, aunts and uncles, and parents, hopefully not siblings but if)
    last thoughts.
    C. Would you feel weird about anyone being able to examine your eternal words?
I would be surprised. Wouldn't that mean I made it in life? To be remembered, even just once, after such a long time has passed.

    A. What would you want your eternal 200 characters to be?
“Goodbye, good luck, I love you.” It’s a family saying, one I put on my mom’s grave. Unfortunately, I don’t really say it to Mr. Hamster, so I doubt he’d think to put it on mine.
    B. Whose last words would you want to know? (i.e. Gandhi? MLK? Napoleon???)
My dad’s, I guess? I’m kinda worried that he’s going to die suddenly and without help, since he lives alone. But he’s a pretty healthy guy, so I think he’ll be fine for a while longer.
    C. Would you feel weird about anyone being able to examine your eternal words?
If it were those, not really. If it were some random thing, it would depend on what it ended up being.

    A. What would you want your eternal 200 characters to be?

The last words I always say before heading out. Which I always hope they remember that I was thinking of them.
    “ I Love You “

    B. Whose last words would you want to know? (i.e. Gandhi? MLK? Napoleon???)

    Top 3-
    Plato:
    Was Atlantis real.
    Nikola Tesla:
Anything he says. Would be worth hearing
    Robert Wilson:
Was that picture of Loch Ness really fake.

    C. Would you feel weird about anyone being able to examine your eternal words?

Naa... I’m dead. What do I care.

Mā whero mā pango, ka oti -
With red and black, it is done.
It's an ancient whakataukī (proverb), that basically translates into an exhortation for us (people, humanity) to work together in order to achieve good things.

    B. Whose last words would you want to know? (i.e. Gandhi? MLK? Napoleon???)
My dad. He died last year and he meant everything to me. He'd probably tell me to shut up and get on with life, lol.

    C. Would you feel weird about anyone being able to examine your eternal words?
No. I'd hope it would inspire them or at least positively influence them to do good things for themselves, the people they care about and the world around them.
