Many novels have spoiler threads quickly devolve into discussion threads. Especially when spoilers are unavailable or the novel is extremely long.
This makes it very difficult to find the actual spoilers people show up for. Especially later when the spoilers are actually available but now after dozens of discussion pages.
You may need to parse through up to 60+ pages before finding relevant posts.
Some way to tag user comments/posts and then filter by those tags would be incredibly helpful.
These could be pre-approved default tags. (e.g, relevant to thread, spoiler, discussion, other)
They could also count as a kind of vote so something 10 people have tagged as a relevant will be more relevant than something only 2 people have tagged as such.

    This has been discussed before.

It's unlikely to happen. NUF is not being actively developed. The script it's running on hasn't even been upgraded in years because of forum addons that would most likely break during the process.

There are two ways to fix the problem:
    1. Recruit multiple moderators for the spoiler forum and have them add tables of content in the first post (and update regularly).
    2. Start each spoiler post with a unique phrase for example REAL_SPOILER and just use the search with "this thread only" enabled to find posts with that unique phrase.
The problem would remain for older spoilers - either post authors or moderators would have to add the phrase to make sure every spoiler post came up in the results.

Talk to the other people at the spoiler thread, organize yourselves into making a Table of Contents within the first post of the Spoiler Thread and then keep it updated yourselves.

If the person that made the thread is no longer active, make the Table of Contents and then contact the moderators and ask them to give you the first post of the thread, they can move it for you.

There is a threadmark addon for xenforo, but it's no longer being maintained for the version NUF is on (and might not work properly with other NUF addons).
Besides, it'd change nothing as only the thread's author and moderators can add threadmarks - which is the same as making a table of contents.
