Apparently, Staff locked a thread two minutes before I submitted my post. Curse me and my tendency to draft long-winded responses. Rest in peace draft. You will likely never see the light of day ever again.
I think I know which thread you're talking about... cuz I'm the one who reported it. Sorry for killing your draft. I'm a murderer and deserve to be damned!
A thread someone else created and you were about to comment on? Been there, done that many times~ What thread was so bad you had to report it?
I wanted to incorporate evidence that supported the argument, but then I thought "Hmm, maybe one wasn't enough," so I went to find more. And then I realized it actually took around an hour to write. In hindsight, one was enough.
Was that really something to be proud of? I think it would cause people to look down on you more than look up to you. PS: Quit leaving essays on my profile. I never said calling out racists = racism, that would have made me a racist too. You are racist not because you called them racists but because of 4 threads (or more) of Chinese bashing that ALL got locked. If that is not a clue, I don't know what is.
depends on the thread. like if u had one that turned into something like "why is racism a good thing" that needs to be reported and locked down like yesterday
It's also that guy's history, he had a huge page of threads about China and China bashing. While I do think they need a short losing war like Vietnam to learn some humility, smear campaigns from randoms do not help.
I've had this happen a few times too. Usually I want to join in as a bystander and write some huge rant (which I occasionally do, cough cough), but blammo it's locked, so I feel your pain.
As someone who had been in their shoes before thanks to a certain panda I can understand the frustrations...
