There is possibly second pandemic because bubonic plague as china order second lockdown in china inner mongolia province. https://www.express.co.uk/news/worl...ytwzaaLxtxWuSyCdcuAbM2DN7ZOGjN_5fuQIJlnLjPtvg What do yall think?
Bubonic has been around and active for a long time. We know how to deal with it so there's nothing to worry about.
Meh, it is 2020, now am waiting for Greenland to happen IRL or alien invasion or multiverse collapsing which results in Scion, Thanos and Darkseid deciding to buttfuck Earth.
Nah man, im just waiting for monster to come out of some sort of dimensional gate and superpower awakening instead
Don't forget the ticks, avian flu that only targets ducks (ducks they were supposed to use to get rid of a massive locust swarm), swine flu, banks failing, fake gold, citizens only allowed to withdraw 1000 yuan, deliberate flooding in agriculture sectors, etc.. I wonder which and how many deities China pissed off?
Along the line of thinking that monopolies are not good for the market, we should be anticipating Covid 19 rival.
Sadly though, I heard CCP is destroying buddha statue on china province with all the catastrophe they are experiencing. Though they have history of destroying religion sites and murdering to falun gon practitioners. So there are too many to specify
Heh, superpower awakening? How bold of you to expect anything good coming out of 2020? Going by the main religion in China which is Atheism, I'd say all of them.
I'm not even surprised if World War 3 happened in the near future. P.S. no politics talk, so please don't go down that road
Well a belief in “nothing” is quite a powerful religion in itself... though judging by the amount of xanxia novels with MCs here and there becoming some sort of a god... mainstream literature is also a form of religion...
Not planning to, just light hearted jabs here and there. Also, no making fun of religions, as fictional it may be to yourself, it happens to be an important aspect in someone's life. Yeah, though most of their belief is "My fate is in my hands (我命由我不由天)" and they ultimately becoming a god... kind of impressive yet somehow hypocritical at the same time. Meh, whatever that rubs the readers' balls I guess.
tecnically, health and safety, so it won't be locked unless someone invites winnie the pooh to the conversation and bubonic plague in china is actually quite common source cdc
This is surprising to me. I know that a small number of people get the plague each year, but I thought that it was highly treatable and that the death rate was low. The fact that China is going is locking these villages down is concerning. Are the villagers getting adequate treatment? The article doesn’t say.
No need to bring deities here, everything done since the 60's-70's in China was done with a goal of a short/medium term industrial/economical boost, they reaaally skimped on long term planning, quality of life and environmental control. Beijing is one of the most polluted cities in the world nowadays (with massive smog, a lot of cancers, asthmia and pulmonary diseases), many of their rivers are full of heavy metals and industry rejects, they displaced a lot of animal species and populations with massive constructions and barrages, which moved along various illness, parasites, and stressed/unaclimated people around their massive territory. They massively increased population density and made huge dormitories of high density housing for displaced workers from all around their huge country (a perfect petri dish for epidemics). The sanitary conditions are usually ignored for economical efficiency (SRAS and COVID-19 could have been easily adverted or controlled quickly with an effective sanitary control of live animals markets for exemple), and there is regularly new food poisoning scandals (baby milk powder is the last one I remember well enough). So yeah, no need to bring deities here, short term sightness and human greed are more than enough.
at this point , another pandemic doesn't really surprise me anymore. It's like, you kinda expected it but at the same time did not. But anyway, call me if a zombie pandemic really occurs. That way all those years being imaginative would finally have it's use.
Based on my experience playing with plague Inc It's just a matter of time until switch get triggered and dead shall rise
It's highly treatable with several types of strong antibiotics, reducing the death rate to 10%. without prompt proper treatment, however, death rate is 30-100%. Considering this outbreak is out in the chinese version of the boonies, i doubt there's proper healthcare or sanitation or... anything. Dont be surprised if it potentially spreads into India or any of china's other neighbors. The chance of a real outbreak in any 1st world country is unlikely and even if an outbreak occurred, it's easily quashed.
