You are on the 6th floor of and ordered a LPG tank or equivalent(around 11 kilos) . How much you are willing to tip for the one delivering. There is no elevator.

just 11 kilos? 6th floor? No elevator?
    bruh...
I carried 30 kilos to 9th floor no elevator last week. it's not as hard as it seems. Especially if a person gets paid for his job anyway.

Nothing. Tipping is not a thing here. Depending on the option and time of delivery, the price is included when you pay for your item.

How about you go down and carry it up yourself, and tip yourself generously as a pat on the back for a job well done? You get a free workout, save money and get to be generous! :blobhero:

Over here, there is no tipping culture outside of rounding up a bar/restaurant bill to the next #5 or #0. People will look at you weird if you offer a tip for, f.e., lifting stuff to your apartment. Its part of their job, which they get paid for. At most, if its hot, you offer them a cold drink. Which they will more likely than not decline due to company regulations (no snacks/breaks on the job outside designated break or downtimes).

In short: don't tip, its their job.

11 kg? that's like the weight of my dumbbell and I usually use two of them. if the weight is +50 kg I will give him a food and water but not money, tipping is bad and I don't want it to be a culture in my country.

Well there's no tipping culture in my country but if I make someone works hard for their work or inconvenience them I usually just pay it round and tell them to keep the change.

Sure I can do it myself and it's not that hard, but experiencing a harder situation or feeling more pain than other, doesn't make what others feel invalid.

Depends on the price of the gas.

I just usually round it off just to remove the change.
Hes one lucky guy if its more than 5.

there no tipping culture here, in exchange you may get ty money or stuff~ no it different than tip culture on USA ~ da ty given really depend whimsical of da giver hence never expect tip for your job~ that the basic thing here~

you see the tip culture kinda baffle this cat back then cuz for this cat~ most of job with tip(money) that pop up on USA imo isn't that your job? more so if it job on service sector such as home delivery thing~ well this cat do give "keep the exchange" stuff once a while or if it relate to heavy weight stuff give da person snack and drink but never across this cat mind, here tip for ya~

oh this cat hear on USA there law about minimum wage including tips so yup different culture and law~ dunno about Europe~

btw isn't tip relate to noble and servant service from different house? da history~

...... It is based on my experience. I was once rented apartment of 6th floor and have the LPG tank delivered. I forgot how much I tip.

I would tip him around Rs 20-30 which is
loosely equal to 0.5 USD or 50 cents in my country. 11 kg isn't that heavy and don't worry LPG container wont burst. It is treated worse in transit.
