This LCD reminded me of how much I loved this novel and how much I miss it.

As someone who recently read the 1st officially translated volume, are there any significant differences between the web and light novel versions of the story?

There are some differences. First of all the translation of the WN was not as great, even thought I do respect them for translating it. The official is much better. Would not say the wn had miss tranlation but some sentences and lines felt really awkward.
Story differences are mostly about some added extras. Nothing too significant, just sort parts, there is a part where you get to know how Beta heard about the fairy tales and why, also after he saved Alexia, you get to see some sister bonding instead of starting the new arc straight away. There is very little difference in overall.

Objectively Tenshi did a better job translating than the offical English release. Unfortunate for us he had to work in the real world.

Reading the official translation the light novel translation is by no means as good as the web novel translation.

My bad then. I did go thought on it just yesterday, to be able to point out the differences, but I by no means read it with full attention. There were some parts what I felt better in LN, but then I take back what I said about the translation in overall.

Yeah. And Yen Press doesn't do a good job in translating from what I've seen.
