Ok here’s my theory on the mc sickness, Rita or Rita family caused it. It states in the latest chapter that if the mc skin didn’t turn black she would be the most beautiful woman in the kingdom and the fact she is the daughter of the hero. It would makes sense why the prince jackass would be a fool not to marry her. However since the mc came to the capital and was announced to be the next queen knowing there no way out of the engagement unless one of the parties dies. Rita who come from a long line of sorcerers probably cast a spell to make her self more pretty, possibly brainwash the prince and give the mc a “diesease” that will make her ugly and sickly. I’m getting to huge Snow White vibes from this story.

But if you’ve been reading Chinese novels before Korean and Japanese novels, you tend to have a misplaced notion about how the ML should be “pure” and “never have/been touched”, which is very unrealistic because once these MLs suddenly experienced “spring” with their destined MCs, they suddenly become sexperts. Let’s be honest, that’s complete BS.
When I started reading the novel, I created a dislike for Clint not because of his savage lifestyle itself, but because he was doing it in public and in the home of others. However, in few chapters he showed that he is a very dignified guy. His defect is being too flirtatious... I believe that Clint will surprise us even more positively!
The guy is just a Playboy. I think the FL Clint was a play boy but that was before he met the FL. How he treats her is more important and he has been really nice.

I don't understand why people dislike Clint. Yeah, from what I gathered he's a complete playboy, but that was prior to his meeting with the female lead, and if what people are saying is true, he soon after stopped those habits. Who cares about what he done in past? It was the past and he didn't even know her at that point. What matters is how he treats her in the present and future, and he treats her good... much better than Lawrence ever did, that's for sure.
