Anyone can write a nice, good or "righteous" MC. The cliche "Hero" where they are going to save the world because they're the hero. But it takes a great author to write a truly Kind MC. As ironic as it seems, real Kindness is something that's born out of Darkness. Its reaching back to hold out a hand to something who's where you've been before. Th number of stories that can pull this off are few and far between. Rather than a wholesome, truly kind MC, the majority either turn into some edgy douche with a "either with me or against me" mentality, or they turn into some naive "friendship is magic" doormat. The only ones I can think of that really pulled this idea off were, "There's no Epic Loot here, only Puns", Angel Densetsu, Mob Psycho and to a lesser extent, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Each MC has gone through their own tragedies and Darkness, but instead of letting it warp them, they used it. EDIT: I Feel like I should include Belldandy on this list as well, even though she's not the MC per say. Does anyone Know of any other stories like this, stories with an Wholesome MC who could be called truly Kind (not just "good" or "Nice") without being to cliche? NOTES: 1): Decent Length (100+chapters or 2-3 Volumes, depending on chapter length), and/OR being actively translated (Has been updated in the last 1 - 2 months). I.E. I don't want something with 10-15 chapters that's not been updated since August 2016, but something with 5-10 chapters that's been update Mid Mid July/Aug (or even the start) is perfectly fine. 2): No Hentai/Smut. Adult themes/Scenes are fine, but no blatant smut (I.E. a bedroom scene just for the sake of smut). 3): Harem tag is fine, but No Polygamy. 4): No BL/GL.
If you’re okay with comics, I’d recommend “Leveling Up, By Only Eating!” I haven’t read the novel, so I don’t know how it compares.
The Man Picked Up By the Gods (Reboot) - the writer tossed in a pre-transported, sordid past for the MC (in v3, extra 1,2,3), which the transported and essentially reborn MC has no memory of. So... I don't know if this fits your criteria.
I've been reading this light novel version : The Wizard Raised Through TRPG is Still the Strongest in the Other World (goes with Magic User: Reborn in Another World as a Max Level Wizard in the official English release) and its very nice so far mc's a 42 years old dude who got transported as he was, so he's also 42 there. Very kind and has a lot of naive thoughts due to his disposition from years of working as your usual japanese company worker. It has a very nice writing, currently 2 volumes and third one is supposed to be published at november.... but as I've said before, its an officially published book. There is also webnovel version that someone has fantranslated til chapter 100ish but I highly recommend to just read the official books due to the quality

Mob psycho is my favorite shounen exactly because of that!! demon slayer is pretty good too. Honestly i can't think of another one that fits your criteria exactly, but from the kind of vibe i get from your tastes you should read sangatsu no lion, i feel like you'll really like it. both the anime an the manga are decent lenght and are very, very good. Protagonist is kind, and a lot of other characters have a good heart, but its a different vibe ( wow look at my description abilities). Anyways, give it 5 eps, hope you like it
Mob is overrated. Reigen is the most wholesome one imo. As for my recommendation, Gon from Hunter x Hunter fits pretty well your description. He is a textbook shounen MC at first glance but oh boy that you are up to a big surprise.
