Well I was thinking it was about time for a new chapter, so when I couldn't reach the site I at first thought it was down from all the people trying to read the new chapter... Major fake out.
Well ... For the people that can't find a link to DM discord, this has been a massive waste of excitement and hope
the Black/night background isn't working for me on the site is this happening to one else or is it only me?
So it's been confirmed that all the tauren children were women before hand. Still holding a grudge against minotaurs over other monsters is understandable.
Jack could probably save himself, and some of the other Legion members, if only he knew about the other genres of transforming heroes. I mean the first things that came to mind when Juliana said Magical Girl Knights, were the Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog, and the Knights of the Round over here in the west, but there are also all the brands of Power Ranger types, as well as the Kamen Riders....
I love you. Time to read. Edit: Damn Legion has come so far from just being Lump-of-Flesh chan. Also, the sheer number of passive and unique skills Van's people have is ... unfair.
What's really unfair is the huge series of cliffs that we've been subjected to since the beginning of this arc. We all know Fitun is going to get his godly butt handed to him by Our Lord and Savior Van, but the road there is arduous indeed!
is anyone else looking forward to the character sheet after all of this? How many levels will Van go up after they kill all the heroic spirits and Fitun? As the caliber of enemies increase Van will have to periodically change jobs mid-battle. Van: "Please wait a moment, Sam can you come here a moment?" Do you think Van's familiars, or maybe a clone like Banda could job change for him?
That is a interesting point. At the very least he should be able to use his spirit form to do it but i would think changing jobs mid fight would be dangerous just from the sudden boost in skills and stats would throw off a persons balance.
There aren't really any stakes in this series is there? Van's side has pretty much never taken a loss ever, no one except enemies ever die. So it's hard to feel any tension in this battle and it's even being dragged for who knows how many chapters. I think my favourite part of the series is the Eighth Guidance vs Bravers side story arc where they're basically sacrificing themselves to take as many enemies with them as possible.
I have stopped reading this for a long time because of the fighting, which is not bad but as you say there is almost no risk, although unlike other stories here things go well because Van took all possible precautions because for him even an injury of a member of his group is considered a defeat, the reasons why I read this range from seeing the creativity of the author to create combinations of powers, seeing what monster Van becomes and seeing the peculiar interactions and reactions between the characters, both From the protagonists to the antagonists, in addition to of course seeing what will happen in the end with revenge, Van will remain faithful until the end or he will kill them or the armor of the heizn plot is so great that Vandeliu will have mercy
