The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb. I've never felt so bad for a protagonist at the end of a trilogy than Fitz, the poorest and most sorriest bastard in fiction. I spent days thinking about the ending, cursing the author yet unable to call her work rubbish. It has a sequel trilogy which I am unable to muster the will to read.

 

I like that title already, I think it’s exactly my taste. That kind of novel that makes me regret why did I read that at first place? To just ruin my day? Maybe that’s the the point _3 」∠)_、thank you for the recommendation

These 2 are very depressing. Once i even felt that, these novel authors are trying to compete whose FL is more pitiful.

I have read all you listed and they are gut-wrenchingly awesome.

This is not on NU: Have you read One Lifetime is Never Enough on Wattpad? The writing is messy at first, I had to endure for the first few chaps. But after that, I was glued. I ended up laughing, grinning like an idiot, and finally crying. The props / songs / pictures used also add to the reading enjoyment. The author split it into 3 books, the 1st (from the ML POV) and the 2nd (from the FL POV) are the saddest.

 

Sounds like amazing experience to me I’ll try and find Them on wattpad .. thanks ^^
