What is your crappy / horrible title novel ever ?

I'm glad I actually ignore the title and try to read it feeling ?

Mismatch title it is so bad but actually it is very good??

Does the series really herding gods?

 

I think it was more about him being a little herding boy that ends up being on the power level of a god. maybe in the end of the novel it turns into him herding them too. But the novel itself has nothing to do with herding lol.

 

Then it should be tales of shepard god xDDD

There are quite a few but if I had to pick one then I’d go with desolate era.. regardless of how IET tries to explain it in the very LAST chapter, about how mc names his universe desolate universe.. it just doesn’t make sense to me.. But then again, CN mc’s do have horrible naming sense imo, especially in that specific novel *cough*northbow swords*cough*Mana*cough*

 

Maybe because his name is 秦牧 (Qin Mu) surname is Qin while the word Mu means herding, because he is born as a herding boy. Fyi, the village he lives in with all the old folks is similar to how Guo Jing's childhood in The Legend of the Condor Heroes

And the title is 牧神记, you can see his name.

And in the middle of the work he did Title Drop, (to herd the gods so that they may serve humanity instead) which resulted in all the gods wanting him deader, they wanted hom dead from the start though.

Spoiler: End

He becomes something beyond a god, a Chaos that can travel through time to try and resolve the entropy crisis at the end of universe. The author ends in an open note bcause he don't want to spoil the work with his lack of knowledge

Fyi, most CN novels has extra weird titles to attract readers, then english translation came along and makes it even weirder.

 

Everybody Loves Large Chests... Not a hidden gem tho since it's quite popular, but I avoid reading it for quite sometime before giving it a try

I wont read it by seeing title, I imagine full of ecchi and big boobs..

 

I did and the work got stale for me, I even read the author's previous work.

 

I find this kind of thing all the time. As it happens, the quality of a book doesn't have much to do with what its title is, and good writers can still come up with dumb titles. For example, I'm reading 贼人休走 right now, and the title is the equivalent of "Stop, Thief!" By the title you'd think that it's a slapstick adventure comedy, and while there are elements of that in the story, it's actually an introspective character piece that is filled with thought provoking ideas. I like this particular writer a lot but he's prone to coming up with silly titles for his books, and even sillier titles for the chapters. It doesn't have any effect on the strength of the writing though.

 

Yeah!! That's happen!! To passing the times I cross one of recommend novel. It's called "HE'S MINE, NO OBJECTIONS ALLOWED"
For me the title kinda ridiculous as an tittle novel! I even want to ask the author did he/she missing some of brain cells! I mean come on who gonna read it!! And guess what? ME!! Ha..
When I see the forums many people have similar thoughts.. It's GOLD!.I'm pretty sure many readers gonna miss this cause the title is suck!

I Got a Cheat and Moved to Another World, so I Want to Live as I Like

I actually passed on it without even a second glance until it was on top of the daily ranking in Nocturne for about two months, then gave up and tried it out. I think I probably wouldn't have liked it even in the first 20 or so chapters, but it just kept getting better and better. Despite the slice of life title and slow start, it has a complex and interesting series of intertwining storylines, characters and setting full of life, a magic system that seems simple at first only due to the protagonist's cheat but is actually deep. A classic example of "Never judge a book by its cover".

Though no matter how highly I praise it, I'm sure a lot of people here would be turned off because 1) there's a lot of smut 2) while most of said smut is consensual, heterosexual, and between adults, there's a good amount of BL, a good amount of scenes with young (junior high) characters, some yuri, a little rape/mind control/weird fetishes... and 3) the main character isn't a hotblooded guy who seeks revenge for every slight; he just wants to enjoy his lifestyle to the fullest, though if something threatens that lifestyle he can certainly take some extreme actions.

 

Good, now i have some new novels to try.
