Dont think I'll mind the age gap if the first romantic pursuing and interactions come from both parties as adults, or atleast the male one - which is shown he only realizes and does it after MC is in highschool aka adult age of these worlds.

Atleast not another run of the mill MC ends up with the strongest duke ever or the crown prince. Like gawd so rare to see a FL not marry someone of just the highest status.

 

You try forcing someone with a weapon that can mow down all of your best men before they even reach you.

Her guns are both something people want to recreate, and a deterrent.
