Novel Summary There was often a male villain in romantic novels. They were paranoid and crazy. However, readers were disturbed by unfair treatment and bad endings. Then, Ji Ting who complained about the novel was bound by this kind of reader’s resentment. Spoiler: First World ML is a disabled 17 year old here. She helped him to get to the hospital but ran away. When she caught him, he was being beaten and his things were thrown. She went down the sewage to give him back the tiger doll his mother gave him. MC blurted out that she liked him which he doesn't believe. They made a contract that she will subsidy him and if she regretted it she give her apartment to ML. She was unconscious when ML did this. He was insecure that she'll leave him. MC was drunk. He was sent to school and had outstanding grades. When they saw news about Ml's former bro, she decided to help him regain his memory about ML to eliminate his grievances. It backfired tho. ML thought that she might like his bro more than him bec it's always like that. He got angry and MC was rushed out the house and slept on the hallway. When it rained ML looked for her and brought her home. It was ML's 18th birthday and she promised him that they'll do the deed after she came back from the veg market but in front of the building, everything became distorted. It became old and also her clothes. When sh ewent to the apartment, the lock was changed and her phone doesn't work. The new owner lent her his phone and she called Ml which fortunately didn't change his number. He said that he'll go to her and get her. They went to the suburbs and saw 10+ security guards with < 6 dogs. He brought her to a room where the furnitures every corner has foams as if afraid of accident. There's also a huge black mirror in front of the bed and the corners of the bed has iron rings. Everytime MC drank tea, she fell asleep and got mosquito bites. And she kept wondering what the 5th floor has. When she finally learned that it was her sculptures made by ML she felt creepy. He locked her up but never do the deed. So when she begged him to go to his bro's wedding, she talked to his bro's wife to ask for aphrodisiac (?) She convinced ML until they had sex. When she woke up, she felt weak and fell asleep in the bathroom. Later on, she learned that ML was looking for her. He came back. He doesn't want to celebrate his birthday, so she invited his bro nd wife and went out to buy veggies when she was arrested bec a fight occured and she doesn't have Id. ML waited for her. Bro and wife bailed her out and went back. They did it again and everything went still. MC disappeared. ML's leg healed and got it back. He changed. He remembered why he was there and went silent when MC was gone.
Spoiler: Second world FL is the maid, the ML is a sick young master. She takes care of him and gets on his good side by getting food that was meant for his adopted (?) brother and then later on cooking food personally for him. The ML's mother left him to his father and his father didn't like him and adopted the original ML (Gu something), i think. Everyone in the house treated the adopted son better than the ML and they gave him bad food and did not take care of him properly. Spoiler: petty maid drama FL gets into conflict with the other maids, they sent her old (?) buns to eat, ML kept the buns until they were festering with mould and then the ML took FL to the maids and made the main maid eat the rotten buns until she vomited. There was another scene where she had to clean up a pond for 3 days and if she didnt complete the task she was gonna be fired, the maids messed the pond up and when the FL saw, she dragged one of the maids and put her head into the water, the ML saw this as well and told them to clean up the mess. ML asked FL to be his woman and she disagreed and said some stuff and said she would get a transfer if he didn't act better (she didn't like that he acted a bit spoilt?). ML was angry and when she prepared breakfast for him, he smashed the plate on the ground and left. She picked up the broke plate and got a cut and ML bandaged it for her when he saw. Dont know when but ML locked her in a room and she escaped and went to the foreman to get the transfer but the foreman said "um nah, you had the choice before and NOW u want to change." She meets adopted son on the way out and he says he can transfer her if she gives ML ""vitamins"". She went back to ML and they resolved their issues and she told him about the "vitamins". FL proposed the idea that they leave the place and live an ordinary life. ML thought of a plan to destroy adopted son and ML's father's business. The ML had been working with the adopted son to let him take over the family business since ML hated his father and wanted to see him suffer when his business was taken away by the "son" he trusted. Spoiler: After leaving the Shen house When ML and FL leave, they go to FL original house but find it to be a dump. ML says he'll rent a place but he gets his subordinate to lie and let them stay at the expensive place for cheap. FL gets bored at home and says she wants a job and told ML to get a job too. ML keeps buying her EXPENSIVE jewellery and says that they are fake. Some petty drama happens at her work place; the colleagues think she's with an old man because ML came to pick her up in a vintage Ferrari and she always has new jewellery. They later find out the she's the CEO's "wife"---FL leads finds this out at the same time and she's super angry that she's been lied to about everything and confesses what she's feeling to ML when she gets drunk after a few days of sulking (I forgot to mention ML made a contract after leaving his fathers house and she found out that it was a LIFE contract before she got drunk i think). FL promised that she would have sex with ML when it snows (i think its like maybe spring time? anyways its meant to be average temperature) and after their lying issue was resolved it began to snow and she was reluctant to have sex but then after half the days gone by she decides to let him have his way and they do it. Finally, the day after the sex she wakes up and sees there is a ring on her finger. They go to the Civil Affairs Bureau and get a marriage certificate. They have a 2 person wedding at home. FL disappears after the wedding vows and ML feels like he was "deceived again".
I guess her whole being just disappears from the world but people can still remember her (or maybe its just the male lead)? It probably is just the ML since he's also a world hopping person.
Actually the ml of every world is the same person. And the ml and fl are from the same real world. The ml in the real was in a car accident and in coma iirc and shuttle to the worlds with the fl. After fl task complete in every world the mi will "wake up" as in remember that he is also a tasker and not just a character from those worlds and will also dissapear from those worlds after the fl left. They'll meet in the real world after the task complete.
I don't read the rest of the arcs since MTL hurt my brain, I just read the last one when both the MC and ML returned to their own world. Please forgive me if there's inaccuracy, since I've just read the MTL version and only once. IIRC, MC woke up and found that the time didn't change much. She met ML after a few days, I think. ML was still paranoid, and he did things like buying the food she disliked and destroying the painting she liked, in an attempt to make he was the ONLY ONE she would like/love. But, he appeared uncomfortable because he knew what he did was wrong MC noticed how weird he behaved gradually but she didn't attempt to leave him. She went to see ML's doctor friend who knew about his condition. I think she talked about treating him in her own ways. The doctor friend was skeptical because he had done a lot of things yet he had never succeeded. MC knew she could succeed because instead of leaving ML or be angry all day, she tried to reason with him and showed that she didn't fear him, like she always did during the time they world-hopping ML's paranoia was due to what happened in his childhood, something like his parents were always busy with their business so ML devoted his attention to a doll. Noticing that their son's weird attachment to the doll, they destroyed it. I think since then ML had never liked something for fear of having it destroyed as well. Since he loved MC, he wanted ONLY HIM to be her entire world. His actions were excessive, like flooding MC's apartment so she would live with him yet the butler said ML had downplayed his ruthlessness. With MC, he tried to control his impulse as much as he could although his paranoia was still there. Long story short, MC lived with ML and started his treatments. One day, MC found that she was pregnant. She was afraid to tell ML because she thought it would suddenly hinder ML's treatment as he might dislike their child for getting MC's care and attention. She planned to abort it and did searches on the Internet ML noticed that MC always vomited and couldn't eat much. He had suspected of her being pregnant after a couple of more things mentioned by his butler and maid until he found her history of searching for abortion-related websites in her phone. He was sad yet he didn't confront MC immediately. The day MC was supposed to abort the baby, she backed away at the last minute and called the ML, saying she was pregnant. ML said he knew. ML was already in the hospital. There were no arguments that happened here. MC confessed that she was afraid if ML would hate the baby, she promised that her love for him would never fade because of their baby. ML said usually he would dislike anything that would take MC's attention away from him but when he first thought of her having a baby, he found that he was anticipating it as well. He was sad about the abortion thing because he thought MC was unwilling to have his child. They reconciled MC had a terrible pregnancy because her mood was so easily affected and she would cry in the end. ML didn't have time to be paranoid because every time MC cried, he would panic and appease her ML's parents came back to see their grandchild, and it was mentioned that although the thing happened between them, ML didn't completely hate his parents.
I like this QT story. Each arc is short and fast paced. Each story has its own uniqueness and twist. No uber killing, plotting, extra characters or dogfighting in every corner like other stories. Yeah, FL and ML are both tasker while FL remembers everything as she goes world hopping, the ML only remember, when FL completes her task and was about to disappear, The ML would then anticipates meeting her on the next world. Im only at chapter 70 so.. im looking forward to finishing this
I just finished reading and I really like this fast paced QT. ** In each arc, ST has a birthmark that the darker the color, the darker the grievance, and as long as it turns lighter and disappeared, the story will end Ji Ting cannot give birth in any of the arcs, some stories they lived till old age, some just until she completed the task. As I've mentioned above, the Shen Tuchuan who is the author, can only recall his identity every time Ji Ting finishes her task and was about to go to the next world. Spoiler: 1ST World Chapter 1-25 Handicapped and Savior JT was already 23 and ST was 17. She met him being bullied by a group of people. ST's other leg was already amputated and was using a crutch. His hatred toward s his bestfriend who was injured together with him was gone, and found out he was rescued and living a goodlife. He delayed his leg treatment just to look for him everywhere resulting to his leg cut off. He doesnt know that the bestfriend had an amnesia thats why he didnt look for him. JT and ST lived together, and one day due to story jumped to 10years later, JT in a blinked of an eye, remained as 23 yr old while ST became 27 or 28. Already rich and successful , his new grievance was about JT living him on his birthday, so JT wanted to celebrate his birthday to fulfill her promise Spoiler: 2nd World Chapter 26-38 Young Master and Maid JT became a maid to a sickly ST. ST was the biological son but the adoptive ML was the one favored by his father. ST grievance or hatred in this world is towards his father who forgot about him and the adoptive son who schemed to get everything and poisoned him to die JT became his goal in life, for JT he moved out of the mansion. Got cured and lived together. The ML in the story schemed against the adoptive father, ST initially wanted to kill his father but Gu Gu ,(ML) refused and just gave the father medicine. The father fell ill after knowing of what the adoptive son did and the downfall of the company In the end, when the Gu family went bankrupt, it was still the adoptive son who took care of ST's father. Spoiler: 3rd World Chapter 39-55 Princess and Prime Minister JT was a princess and was also a general who has military power here and her brother became the emperor. She has a reputation of a woman with plenty of men around her. She needs to save ST who was currently captured as a slave, redeem him, save his parents to prevent his blackening. JT was supposed to be killed by his brother as he see her as a threat. To prevent this, she surrendered the military power in exchange to redeeming ST. Saved his parents but still died due to unforeseen plot. Initially, she just want to save ST and let him go but ST fell inlove with her. The throne was actually given by the previous emperor to JT but the decree was destroyed by her brother. When brother was about to die, he gave the position to JT. Spoiler: 4th World Chapter 56-75 4 split personalities ST and Tutor JT The 1st personality is the older or main personality, a business minded person, serious, taciturn, who usually makes final decision and the one who hired JT to be a tutor for the 4tg personality 2nd personality is the playboy type, loves car and motorcycle racing 3rd personality is a woman's heart, loved to wear women's clothes and all 4th personality is a student one Only one personality can surface each time, and usually switches when triggered by something. Each character fell inlove. With JT and in the end, they decided to fuse into one character to be with her Spoiler: 5th World Chapter 76-88 Classmates They first met as 4yr old kindergarten when ST was being bullied and JT defended him, time jump to 10 years after, they were escaping the bullies and went hiding in the rooftoop. She bid goodbye and time jump to 4 years later, when they are now in highschool. ST is still being bullied, but all the bullies are one by one getting into a peculiar accident. JT was also a good student, though the school opposes early love relationship, when they were discovered, they proved themselves thru getting top 1 and 2 in the ranking during entrance test. Its more bout highschool love, and they became successful while the bullies just became regular employees under their company. Grievances resolved after attending reunion and seeing former classmates Spoiler: 6th World Chapter 89-103 Fairy Goddess and apprentice ST She was a goddess and accepted 2 babies as apprentices One was the ML and the other one was ST who was destined to be the King of Demon realm. She planned to switch the baby and dote on ST to prevent him from blackening due to jealousy of being unfavored, but since they were twins, she took the wrong child. When she was injured because of a fight in the demon world, to recuperate, her soul was sent to the mortal world as a young mistress, ST went to the local world and save her from the brothel. They lived together as couple. Knowing that the Master JT has no memory of her being a goddess but had a physical relationship with her apprentice caused ST to be worried. When JT died in the mortal world, she went back to their realm. It was awkward to see her apprentice, they had an argument, misunderstanding when JT was checking the birthmark of the ML and she found nothing, they were caught by ST and assumed that they have a relationship. ST blackened and became the demon king. JT went but was blocked at the gate, in the end they were still together. Spoiler: 7th World Chapter 104-117 Violent Emperor and Concubine She was sent to the palace together with rest for harem drafting, and she her batch were chosen for concubines. ST here was very violent and was killing left and right and has insomnia. He planned to kill JT and everytime he tried, he couldn't do so. At first, ST can only sleep on her bed, he thought it was the bed, so he took her bed, found out. He could only sleep beside her so he couldn't kill her. She was demoted to a maid and restored back as concubine. JT tried to control ST killing and help him be a wise emperor so that the mL would not kill ST. Turned out, ML was JT's neighbor and told him that the country need the emperor and he has done a lot for the people. She became the queen, and since she cant give birth, ST abdicated and picked someone from the branch family as successor. They lived together happily as simple couple Spoiler: 8th World Chapter 118-137 Student JT and Zombie ST They were classmates in highschool and JT knew that it would be zombie apocalypse in few days so she bought food, equipment that she could use. Her goal is to save ST and his parents . When the zombie apocalypse started, she told ST that she can foresee future and told him that their classmates will betray him and that his parents will come to pick him up. ST parents, ST and JT managed to escaped , soon they met their old classmates and injured ST during food hunting, so that he could have JT. JT killed the guy. ST due to the promise, though became a zombie, has consciousness, he evolved and almost like a normal person. He met with JT they were together, since he became the king of zombie, he doesnt want the evolve zombie to die so he set fire in the lab where research data for cure was stored. Parents found out, and was ashamed of what their son did, JT and ST left the camp and lived in the forest. When they came out, after 5 yrs, it is already stable outside. Only JT gets old and ST had to apply make up to look old When JT was about to die, ST drunk the bottle that he stole from the lab and died Spoiler: 9th World Chapter 138-147 Wolf ST and Human JT JT went to the Wolf tribe to find ST who was being bullied because he can't fully transformed. His father was labeled as a traitor too. She told ST that she was his fiancée and had to convince him to accept her. They lived together, she taught ST how to cook and invented utensils since their world is a primitive one. She helped ST to be accepted by the tribe and defended not be bullied anymore With JT's love , ST learned to accept himself and protected JT. They got married after all the hardship Spoiler: 10th World Chapter 148-161 Eunuch and Empress She started in this world as a newborn child, time jumped to when she was 10 years old. She went out to look for her father and to see the emperor. She met ST who was a Eunuch. ST was asked to send JT back, they went to a lake first, ST hit JT's knee with a stone and she fell in the water, when someone came and saw JT, ST saved her. ST was holding a power enough to throw the emperor. here, ST has all the memories of the previous worlds and thought that JT will only bring heartbreak to him if he falls in love so it is better to kill her. When JT was already at her marrying age, the 60 yr old emperor wanted to have her as part of the harem, ST allowed it so that JT will not be part of his life and theres no need to kill her. The emperor was sick and theres always a reason to avoid flipping JTs namecard. JT deliberately get herself sick and all She still became entangles with ST. If the emperor died and since JT is without a child, she will be buried with emperor. ST picked the ML , one of the emperor's son with a maid, who was still a child, around 9yr old or so, and made JT the mother or guardian so that she will be the dowager. The Young emperor grew up and when he was 17, he had all the power, ST gave up the power, ST and JT were still secretly in a relationship secretly meeting at night. The young emperor was opposed to their relationship because he does not want to be abandoned by the 2 people who cares for him In the end, they were able to get out of the palace and live together as normal couple. This is the last world, and they went back to real world Spoiler: Real World Chapter 162-173 ML has a psychological condition which he got when we was a child, his parents left him to his nanny and he got too attached to a doll and when his parents saw it. They burned it. It was the start of the parent-son gap. As part of his treatment, he was asked to write novels, and when he got into a car accident and transmigrate into those novels as the Male lead together with Ji Ting. After completing all the arcs, they went back to the real world. The ML was still on a wheelchair when he met Ji Ting, they became a real life couple, ML was possessive but the JT worked hard to make him comply with the treatment, finally got pregnant and initially planned to have an abortion for fear of the ML's illness , possessive and all affecting the treatment. When she went for ultrasound, hearing the heartbeat, she called ST to tell him of her pregnancy and they agreed to keep the child. She gave birth to a Daughter and ST's relationship with his parents improved. When they were out, they met LinZun who was a zombie but will regain consciousness and be the King of Zombie . He was also the first one who got psychic powers but died because the higher ups thought he was a threat. Anan/weiwei was the 2nd person who got psychic powers. LinZun saved Anan when she fell when the ice broke and she was brought to his villa.
