I have been experiencing a number of redirects from various fan translation websites. Wanted to see if others are experiencing the same thing. Edit: Added site links I got redirected from. - https://isekaimynoghra.blogspot.com/
Redirects as in sends you to another site, or as in confirm you connection/status? Because the latter may be due to your vpn if you use one.

I've only been to three sites with this problem. (as in, clicking into the site, and then getting redirected to a very shady-looking one. I've been to one where clicking anywhere brings you to a shady site, but that's not technically redirects I guess.) I think it's the translator's attempt to earn more money? Sometimes a popup blocker will help, other times you just have to hit that stop loading button before it redirects.
I have some that do this for them i disable java if that makes it unreadable i just dont care about that series anymore.
Redirect to other sites. Ok will do. Yeah, it is the translator's attempt to earn more money. uBlock Origin wasn't able to block it. Stop loading works but it's a chore to do it everytime to read a new novel from chapter 1
my issue is always with wuxiaworld on either redirect or autoplay video ads (while using mobile data). other sites usually no issues on phone.
If it wasn't intentionally placed, sounds like the site is compromised and the attacker has hijacked his own code to redirect/earn ad rev/etc.
I use to have that problem. now I just keep my add blocker on. Edit I tried the link with and without an add blocker. if you want to read on those site just keep your add block on.
The translator for isekai myonghra is trying to subscribe to a better ad network. But his current ad network is so freaking intrusive that I just shut off javascript when I go to that site.
