Rather than a show for kids, this is more like a supplementary sex education show. Which is fine and, frankly, needed.

It looks like that book about changing bodies and how it's normal but in video version..... Because most kids don't read many books at the age of puberty. Most people watch videos to learn about things. I think it's good, the amount of misinformation I get kids asking me is shocking. You can't get pregnant through your butt and guys can get breast cancer. Parents don't explain the changing of bodies or general health I formation well if at all. Then most schools censor their health lessons or it's awkward to learn in a group/discussion. So these videos are good. Homework for tonight watch video one and write a summary of what you learned.

Instead of body shaming we now have body cringing!

 

I guess. But I still think animations are enough.

Some kids watching and listening to the nude adults, and they get wiser about the body, I guess.

sex edu not all about making papapa on bed ya know~ despite biology teach reproduction on hmm middle school grade it just da basic science which sound da heck is that? have you ever wonder what kind of reaction a clueless girl suddenly get her first menstruation on class? that was disaster~

 

O.K., this is not the type of show that one should be showing to kids for sex ed purposes.

 

I support this, but if I had a kid, I wouldn't show him/her this.

 

Is it about that Comprehensive Sexual Education thing? Meh, Ai-chan has to translate that and Ai-chan doesn't think it's that big of a deal. Parents are just up in a fuss about teachers talking openly about sexuality with primary schoolers.

The parents said that sexual education has no place in the classroom. Ai-chan totally agrees. It is the parent's job to teach sexual education to their own children, yet they refused to do it. And as a result children grew up not knowing that they shouldn't have anal sex when a dude tells them that anal sex is the same as holding hands. This book only teaches children what their parents should've told them, but didn't.

Then politicians came in and everything becomes politics.

 

I remember reading a study on things like abstinence education vs sex education vs no sex education in school and the summary seemed to be:
1) Abstinence education didn't work much different from no sex education
2) that sex education in school didn't work the way people previously thought of it did, instead it forces families to answer their kids and those talks work. Parents talking about their failures, etc. were more powerful than stats/diagrams in a class, but those talks wouldn't happen in more conservative households if there was no sex education in school
