yes MC is seme and ML is uke towards the last part of the story he goes back to being a human and i don't know if it count as spoiler but ML goes blind its a good and fluffy story though i don't like the ending it gave me weird vibes

 

or wait did i though of the wrong novel ? i hope its seeing eye dog you talk about then if it not you can take it as a recommendation i guess

The last one is interesting but the first one isn't want I'm looking for. Beastman isn't rlly pet themed

it has a teeny tiny bit of angst (like, a little little bit) but the ending is cute. The title might throw u off, but trust me theres a good reason the ml killed him.

if u like the apocalyptic theme then maybe A Filthy Rich Hamster in the Apocalypse (hamster) or Warhead Pet Hamster (hamster)

...not sure if this counts as a “pet”, but its a good novel. Forced to be Favored by the Whole Starts (catnip plant)
