I dunno which bargain bin you're rooting from for that kind of character design, but the popular eroges know to keep the character traits to a manageable level.
I was expecting a question, instead got a statement... sure some quirks are help change things up, but mash too much together and you end up with whatever that was... that's not an ergoe character thats something out of a horror / kink fic...
Kana, Katawa shoujo, Ef, Kanon, Higurashi, saya no uta(?), etc. They each somewhat fit a "cliché" stated above. Not a bad thing, though.
... Here's a hint: since when does the word "manageable" mean putting 5+ charm traits on ONE character and then expecting that game to become a bestseller? It's not the types of cliche's themselves that's the problem. It's the quantity. That's what this thread has been about.
Yeah? I mean, I understand. I just gave examples of eroges that fit a certain cliché. I didn't go against anything you said. As for the original post, it's just a sarcastic parody of clichés, like the invisible dragon of eroges.
Your reply would be better as a standalone. It uses key words that sound like you're selling a fight when you use my initial response as context.
