Chinese to English translator looking to pick up some dropped projects

Hey guys, I'm quite a big fan of reading translated novels, however there's quite a few good ones that gets dropped halfway through (lmao). I typically just go to the chinese sites to read them in chinese, but I understand that not everyone has the luxury to do so.

So I'd be really interested to hear which novels you guys have been dying to see more of, and hopefully I'll be able to help out.

 

My Gentle Tyrant is one of the best, sadly, dropped project I've ever read!

 

Pet Addiction: The Prince’s Desire to Spoil His Pet has been dropped by wordexcerpt and the translator decided to continue the chapters only on her patreon so would be nice to see this continue to get tl-ed. Thanks for your consideration!

I would love to see these novels translated so that other readers can enjoy them. They're among the very best historical novels I've ever come across, and the things they do with characterization and world building are amazing. An added bonus is that these books have harems with very good characters in them; all with their own goals and interests. The problem though? They're authentically historical works so while they don't use terms from cultivation novels, they're packed with tons of historical terms. Most of these are government ones that you can look up but I imagine that translating these books is 2-3x as much work as a regular book.

To OP, I'd also recommend checking out any novels in Novel Wars by isotls, which is a project where ISO translators translate a few chapters of dropped novels in hopes that other translators will get interested in it and start translating. They don't pick up the novels in this project, so even if it's been updated recently by ISO it's all free game, unless someone else has started translating it.

Chen Yue Zhi Yao is a really good novel, but it's not being translated for a few reasons.
I'm just sad... *sigh* Lmao, it's been my signature for 3 years.

Zither Emperor is another novel that has been dead for a long time.

Plundering the Heavens is one of the freshest of its like, but it got dropped by Qidian.
Spirit Blade Mountain (hilarious) seems to also have been dropped... no updates in a while.

hah we tried picking up a novel dropped by Qidian but noooooo it's theirs no one can touch it, even if it's abandoned by them. how possessive.

I don't know how this works but I've read some chinese novels(raw, cauz either they've been dropped or the novel is so good and i wanted more) and I've become interested in translating chinese/japanese novels, if I translated them, where should I post them?
