    Like it also doesn't make any sense tech and politics wise he just does that because he thinks his trash ass state will be able to take it away which makes no sense if it actually came from that huge rebel organization who is way more tech advanced then his trash state FYI fuck his state WHY THEY HELL WOULD YOU SEND A MECH DESIGNER TO THE FRONTLINES WHEN HE CAN'T PILOT MECHS WHY FUCK THIS SHIT PISES ME OFF SO MUCH THE POTENTIAL

    I understand and I sort of agree, sending him to a fortification near the front lines would have been enough specially if he needed to gain some experience and see the realities of war, he did not need to be in the thick of it, the author just did not know how to set up the story properly, he is trying to make the protagonist into multiple things he isn't and that keeps the readers unhappy.
