Discussion What phone brand do you use?

@Aichan I want to ask Aichan if Aichan can recommend Note4 or any Note from Samsung as a backup phone? I really wanted a stylo with my phone but Samsung always prices their Notes out of my budget. Thank you Aichan!

 

Ai-chan would definitely recommend Samsung Note 4 or 5 as your backup phone. Even refurbished ones still work. Don't go for Samsung Note 7 no matter how cheap they are. Why? Google 'Samsung Note 7 explode'.

But why not Samsung 6? Not sure, Ai-chan has not tried it yet, but probably because in Note 6, the battery can't be taken out. Also, Samsung Note 4 and Samsung Note 5 have S-Voice, instead of that bastard Bixby in the newer models. Ai-chan still don't understand why Samsung would get rid of their S-Voice and replace it with an inferior Bixby.

Why inferior? With S-Voice, you can customize your phone to activate its features by calling the name you gave it, as if you have your own pokemon. Or if you don't have a girlfriend and you want to pretend like someone cares about you, you can set the S-Voice to respond to the name of a girl. For example, you set your phone's name to Angelina. You can just say, "Angelina, set appointment for 6am tomorrow." With the new Bixby-based phones, you can only say Bixby, you can't change its name. If Ai-chan finds out who decided to switch S-Voice to Bixby, Ai-chan will have him walk in concrete shoes Gangnam Style.

Xiaomi redmi 6, but in need of a new phone.

I think I'm staying with xiaomi, mainly because they haven't disappointed me yet. Cheap affordable phone with amazing capabilities. The camera is a bit lacking but for the price I got it and the things it's done, I'm more than happy with it.

Lenovo laptop and many apple tabs plus iPod even have a professional camera but no phone............. My grandparents thinks I too young to get a "phone" and my parents obey so I got no phone. But I'm get something awesome as my first personal phone.

 

Tell your parents you need a phone for safety reasons cause what if something happens? You gotta learn to manipulate your parents weaknesses.

 

People who buy Samsung are almost as ridiculous as Apple buyers. Samsung used to be a lot cheaper and always a bit better than Iphone of the same generation, now they aren't far away in price, same for Huawei. Just going with Xiaomi, Cubot is super cheap now, brands that are prefectly fine and have something to prove so lower prices... fuck buying anything because of a brand, quality is all that matters.

 

I have used that method but it was a epic fail. T^T I even tried saving money but I don't get pocket money can only save from my lunch money so I eventually dropped that plan cause who can resist those milk teas, bubble teas, cakes , cookies and muffins plus it would take a long time to gather enough money for my expected phone.
