    I've just started using NU 7 months ago and I have 68 novels that I'm reading simultaneously and 46 novels completed. I don't know if this happens to anyone else, but whenever a novel updates, since I'm reading so many at the same time, I always forget what happened and have to backtrack, and sometimes I even have to reread the whole novel because I forget the plot and side characters. And since I read a lot of QT and infinite flow novels, I always forget which arc belongs to which novel and who the side characters are since there are so many.

    Defends on the person, i like to binge read atm so for right now i don't have that problem.

    I definitely have too many title in my list.

    I am not the type that forget about plot, but I do forget names.

    Unless the series doesnt update for months, i never have this problem. Sometimes it takes me a few minutes to remember what happened but i do not forget the general premise of where the story is at.
    For example, i havent read 2nd coming of gluttony in 3 months. I left off when they were going to the spirit realm (working on it). I roughly remember what was going on.

    I just counted and I'm currently following 15 novels currently (didn't realize it was that many) and that's just counting ones that update at least once a week. If you count ones that update really infrequently but I've still got bookmarked, you could double to triple that (not sure exactly because I don't know which are dropped and which on hiatus). I also have 5 really long ones I got tired of before finishing but that I sometimes go back to when I have nothing new to read.

    I don't have that problem right now but i did before. It's common because chinese novels have a lot in common with each other, even some parts of the story...

    For example, i was reading the legendary mechanic a few months ago and the mc was fixing cannons in an ongoing battlefield. I thought, wait... I have read something similar before... I remembered that something similar happened in tales of herding gods but then i thought, no... In herding gods the mc was modifying not fixing and then i remembered, ah! It's a world worth protecting! Mc was fixing cannons in an ongoing battlefield...

    Kek... I'm drowing in a mountain of books... Oh that's one of song shuhang's(from cultivation chat group) daoist names...

    Ok just checked. 107 in reading and 64 in completed. 22 in dropped and 53 in to read.

    I have a lot of novels that I haven't read in a while just to stack more translated chapters. I don't really have a problem of remembering but if I do forget which chapter I was, then I'll just backtrack 20 chapters or so (or just reread!)

    7, and I have completed zero.
    And I have dropped 9.
    I think there has only been 2 novels that I truly enjoyed reading. One was dropped by Webnovel (Doomsday Wonderland), and the other just got progressively worse and I had to drop it myself (Fields of Gold)
    I probably have like 30-40 books on my planning to read list, that I won't read for a while because they haven't progressed enough.

    I sort my novels by reading, completed, maybe and dropped. Currently reading 4, completed about 10, dropped 20+ and 3 more on my maybe list. Im quite picky.

    Wao. Didn't think to check till your post. 311! Time to do some cleaning. A lot of them have been dropped by translators, so Nostalgia incoming.

    I almost never forget the plot about a novel I've read. Exceptions are from poorly translated novels, of which many are japanese, they cost brain cells to read, and dead brain cells can't keep memory. :p

    I’m reading ~200 and dropped ~300 but I don’t have a “Completed” list, I rarely have to reread the whole novel to remember what it’s about, but I do usually have to reread a couple previous chapters if the novel hasn’t updated for a long time
