Most of the time the source materials are always better. If you already read the manga, you will usually be disappointed with the anime. That said, shounen anime that I think are better in anime than in manga are Magi and Ao no Exorcist. Be warned that season 1 of Ao no Exorcist is great but it has it's own original ending but the ending is pretty good imo.

But fight scenes are better to enjoy in anime than on manga you can’t really capture the intensity of the fights in manga compared to anime

I think you should look for old anime.... not that old.. like after 2005's.... there are many classics... they have good art quality and superb plot....

If you want some good fighting scenes, then maybe:
One Punch Man: a guy lives in superheroes & supervillains world got so strong that he just literally need one punch to defeat his opponent, hence the title. But that strength also caused him to get bored w/ his fight. Basically, as one YouTube reactor said, "this is a situation of "what if Superman is a Mary Sue"." Words of caution though, because of his power don't expect him to have a great fight scene 'coz it'll be as the title which also part of the jokes :D:D:D

Youjo Senki a.k.a. Saga of Tanya the Evil: a guy insulted a God, punished to be reincarnated as an orphan girl in a world w/ WW1 era situation BUT w/ magic & science knowledge

Gundam 00, Iron Blood Orphan, Unicorn OVA & Narrative movie: lots of mecha battle, lots of intrigues, but also prepare for lots of sad death (esp for IBO)

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: this one a bit hard to explain since there are 5 parts of JJBA anime w/ parts 6 to 8 still in the manga ver, each w/ it's own JoJo character & story. I'll just links each anime parts to MyAnimelist
    - part 1, Phantom Blood, w/ Jonathan Joestar
    - part 2, Battle Tendency, w/ Joseph Joestar
    - part 3, Stardust Crusaders, w/ Kuujo Joutaro
    - part 4, Diamond is Unbreakable, w/ Higashikata Jousuke
    - part 5, Golden Wind, w/ Giorno Giovanna

    Natsume Yuujinchou series
-has six seasons, slice of life

Kino no Tabi: A Beautiful World (2003)
    -adapted from a light novel

Well. Just sharing my favorite chill refreshing anime. There is a fight scene (sortof) in Kino no Tabi but its not really the focus of the story.

Bakano (The 1st 2 episodes are a bit boring but it picks up really fast)

"Baccano! (which translates to "ruckus" or "stupid commotion") focuses on the stories of different characters in the Prohibition Era of America. Originating back to 1711, a group of alchemists seeking eternal youth are given a special potion by a mysterious demon, making them immortal. However, alchemists began disappearing, and realizing the danger of being close to one another they scatter around the world.

Now in the 1930's, all of the immortals have come together once again. Baccano! tells the stories of each of these immortals, ranging from alchemists, street gangs, thieves, FBI agents and even the mafia."

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica - Again it starts getting good after episode 3.

Don't be fooled, this isn't your typical majou shojo, its more like dark mahou shojo. It starts out pretty and ends up pretty dark.
