In most BL novels I read so far, the ML is either just as strong/powerful or even better than the MC. Now I'm wondering if there are any novels where the MC is clearly stronger/in a more powerful position? Would be super interesting to read such a dynamic.

I would say the leads are equally powerful in the couple dynamic (MC is the bottom though and sometimes acts like he needs the protection of ML but he does that just to act coquettish and to fluster the ML hahahahah) The Earth is Online An action/ survival type webnovel where the setting of the novel is a dangerous strategy game that requires the players to actually think and analyze the rules carefully. The main characters don't have plot armour which I quite liked. Each lead is as powerful but this one doesn't have much romance anyways. The Probability I Can Kill My Wife Without Being Found Out This is a really short bittersweet story told through the eyes of the husband placed in an arranged marriage to save his family business.(if you like this one I recommend reading the story from the wives perspective too) The wife is in a more powerful position economically but he holds some emotional power over her.

I was a legend (horror survival) The MC is very very strong. He has already cleared the game and has some abilities whereas the ML he just started out. But the MC is in a blood contract with the ML which means if ML dies MC dies and ML has full control over MC. But MC isn't pitiful, he is just agreeing with this since he has some goals, he can definitely escape if he wants to.
