My situation is almost the same except I’ve never actively participated on the forums until recently so I lack the experience.

it has been so long that some of the newer ones start to get confused at jokes the old guard make
for example just a while ago someone asked why people were angry at qidian
that makes me really feel old and i haven't become middle aged yet

I feel You , I Used to just use be that lurker on the forum. Maybe peaked my activity in 2018. Remember the times before qidian and all the weird jokes. The tag Tony is a stripper was amazing although i didn't get the joke at first XD, Scoured a few places till i got it lmao

I meant it was toxic for me because of personal reasons which i don't want to bring up, and ofc because i was too addicted, so see, its important to know the context. And i am not from 15-16, i am from the 2018, a millenial in nuf as i see it, but i am a notable member, one of the few people who aren't from 2015-16

i learned most of the context by sutoking the posts linked by older members, because not knowing what they were talking about annoyed me, @Westeller, do your job and merge my double posts
