Introduction To The Main Characters Su Jin Bei Jin Bei is a popular and very pretty actress. She is very friendly and kind despite her popularity. Her parents dote on her but can be busybodies when it comes to her love life. Jin Bei is adept at using her charm on her fiancee and manager in a cute and lovable manner. Wu Di is her manager as well as good friend. She has a more matured and business-minded outlook compared to Jin Bei. Gao Zi Tong is a fellow actress who is jealous of Jin Bei because the man she loves is in love with Jin Bei instead. This man is Xu Jia Wei who is also an actor and singer. Dr. Zhou Shi Yun Dr. Zhou is a young surgeon and professor who is very talented in his field. While he is good-looking, he has a cold and introverted personality. His good friend is Dr. Xiao Yuan Song who has a completely different character. Yuan Song is playful and unashamedly direct with his feelings. Dr. Zhou comes from a rich and traditional family. His mother died when he was still young. He has a grandmother and an elder brother, Zhou Zheng Xian, whom he respects and listens to. Dr. Zhou also has a younger sister, Zhou Su Ying, who is a big fan of Jia Wei. Synopsis Dr. Zhou’s mother and Jin Bei’s mother were old friends. When Dr. Zhou and Jin Bei were still kids, their mothers already agreed to have an arranged marriage between them. However, both Dr. Zhou and Jin Bei are not keen now that they are adults. Not only they have not met each other for years, they even refuse to attend the engagement meal celebration arranged for them by their families. As fate would have it, Jin Bei is involved in a car accident and admitted to hospital. Her attending physician is Dr. Zhou. When Jin Bei finds out who he is, she feels slighted that he couldn’t care less about her and their engagement. Thus, she begins her quest of trying to seduce and make him fall in love with her since she doesn’t believe that he is totally unaffected by her beauty. Intense Love Ending (Spoilers Alert!) Intense Love has a happy ending that sees Dr. Zhou and Jin Bei being a married couple. Earlier, Dr. Zhou thought that Jin Bei is in ho hurry to get married after they find out that her pregnancy is a false alarm. They misunderstand each other’s intention and hence, the marriage topic is not aggressively pursued until the death of Dr. Zhou’s patient who is his superior’s wife. This makes them realize that they should appreciate being together and not waste any more time.
Intense Love Drama Recap Intense Love (韫色过浓) is a very sweet and lighthearted rom-com which is ideal for those looking for an angst-free and relaxing drama to watch. While I have not done a summary for each individual episode, I have tried to do a recap of the whole drama by dividing it into sections. Basically, this is a drama with very little to the plot as it has a simple storyline. The main selling point is its fluff and sweetness. You can read my Intense Love review for more details if you are interested. Episode 1 – 10 : The Seduction Jin Bei tries her best to melt Dr. Zhou’s heart. She seduces him at every given opportunity including during her stay at the hospital following her car accident. Initially, Jin Bei sees it as a challenge and revenge for his cold attitude towards her and their engagement. But she begins to develop interest in him instead. At the same time, Dr. Zhou couldn’t ignore her entirely. His elder brother is pressuring him to bring Jin Bei back to their hometown for ancestral worship and to fulfill the family’s expectations for him to marry her. As their interactions increase, the mutual attraction deepens. At the same time, Wu Di meets Yuan Song during Jin Bei’s hospital stay. While they start off on the wrong footing, they end up having a one night stand while drunk. Yuan Song falls in love with Wu Di and pursues her relentlessly to her annoyance. Jia Wei is also interested in Jin Bei but has yet to confess his feelings for her. Rumors of them become viral. This makes Zi Tong extremely jealous as she has been in love with Jia Wei for a long time. She purposely creates negative publicity for Jin Bei to make things difficult for her. On top of that, Su Ying is also unhappy with Jin Bei for snatching away her brother’s love and attention from her. She also believes the rumor about Jia Wei and Jin Bei and begins to play tricks to bully her. Episode 11 – 15 : Dating And Misunderstanding Dr. Zhou and Jin Bei begin dating. They are sweet and loving. Dr. Zhou also agrees to go and meet Jin Bei’s parents and manages to win her father’s approval despite initial hiccups. But misunderstanding happens when a recording of Jin Bei chatting with Wu Di about seducing Dr. Zhou as a challenge is sent to him. This is Zi Tong’s doing as she is jealous that Jia Wei loves Jin Bei and not her. This causes Dr. Zhou to doubt Jin Bei’s love for him. In a moment of anger, he agrees to go to the mountainside as a volunteer to treat patients. Jin Bei goes after him but a landslide in rainy weather makes Dr. Zhou realize how much he loves her. They clear their misunderstanding and their love deepens. Yuan Song manages to melt Wu Di’s heart when he sells his home to help her get out of an unfair contract. He moves in with her but conflict arises due to differences in lifestyle and habits. But he changes to make Wu Di happy all of a sudden because he is suffering from serious illness with not much time left to live. Wu Di thinks Yuan Song is up to something and assumes that he is having an affair but learns about his illness instead. Jin Bei knows Su Ying is a huge fan of Jia Wei. She introduces Su Ying to him and recommends her to be his assistant. As a result, Jin Bei’s relationship with Su Ying improves. Jia Wei confesses his feelings to Jin Bei but gets rejected. Episode 16 – 19 : Public Admission Of Love Dr. Zhou is protective of Jin Bei. He investigates and warns Zi Tong not to harm Jin Bei. But Zi Tong still anonymously releases news that Jin Bei has a fiancee to mar her popularity and snatch a major role from her. This also causes her to face problem with a sponsor. Jin Bei is unwilling to deny her relationship with Dr. Zhou. She publicly admits that they are in a relationship and surprisingly, her honesty wins her public support. Wu Di wants to make Yuan Song as happy as possible with the short time left of his life. But it turns out that he isn’t sick after all due to a mix up in his urine sample. He doesn’t want to tell Wu Di at first because he is enjoying her full love and attention. When Wu Di finds out, she purposely makes life hard for him until he admits the truth. She is touched by his explanation and their relationship remains stable. Su Ying cares for Jia Wei a lot and secretly becomes his online game partner. They chat with each other while playing but he doesn’t know that the person is Su Ying. But when Su Ying finds out that Jia Wei loves Jin Bei, she is depressed and decides to quit as his assistant. This happens when Jia Wei is adamant on helping Jin Bei when she faces problems with her sponsor. He ropes in Zi Tong to help out but she betrays him by releasing a recording on their conversation which talks about his feelings for Jin Bei. Jia Wei is put on cold storage by his agency when he explains the rumor of his relationship with Jin Bei and defends her following Zi Tong’s betrayal. Episode 20 – 24 : The End With her new relationship status, Jin Bei starts losing roles in movies as she is now deemed to be a matured woman. She is prepared to accept a supporting role instead but is bullied by Zi Tong who is now more popular than her. But the movie’s investor is Dr. Zhou’s brother. He gets his brother to help out and Zi Tong is fired. Zi Tong’s popularity nosedives due to her bad attitude. Jin Bei forgives and encourages her to be positive. They become friendly towards each other again. Zi Tong realizes she has been wrong and wants to win roles based on her ability and not underhanded tactics. In the end, she decides to further her studies abroad and manages get over Jia Wei. The Proposal And Marriage Jin Bei lands a role in a major film after much hard work. Dr. Zhou is photographed having lunch with the producer who is an old friend. He thought of pulling strings for Jin Bei but decides against it at the last minute. But Jin Bei is still angry with him for not believing in her in the first place. Dr. Zhou ends up standing in the cold when Jin Bei refuses to see him. When it begins to snow, her heart softens. Dr. Zhou takes the chance to propose to her and she accepts. After a pregnancy false alarm and the realization that they shouldn’t waste any more time with the death of someone close, they quickly register their marriage and vow to love and cherish each other. While Yuan Song is keen to marry Wu Di, he is afraid to propose. He is unsure if Wu Di still has emotional baggage from her past relationship and fears her rejection. But Wu Di has no such qualms. She decides that they should just register their marriage to save Yuan Song from having to officially propose to her. Su Ying secretly helps Jia Wei to pay off his agency so that he can be free from bondage. Jia Wei suspects the person who helps him is Su Ying and looks for her. He begins to appreciate her and end up asking her to have him with a 50-year contract. Other Dramas That Resemble Intense Love I would say Love 020 would come close to Intense Love if you are looking for dramas with an overload of sweetness and cuteness. It is also a very relaxing drama and you will find yourself smiling as you watch the main couple with their perfect relationship. Perhaps fans of Well-Intended Love would also argue that this particular drama is just as sweet with the glowing chemistry between the 2 leads. So, you can check that out as well although I find the story to be out of this world. Well, it has to be good for many viewers for them to produce Well Intended Love Season 2 to milk the success of the first season.

Can anyone tell me how many chapters there is in total that's going to be translated? Novelupdates says there's 61 chaps total. Wordexcerpt has translated 89. I was thinking they split the chaps in half so there's going to be 122 total translated, but the Wattpad translation says it's at 122 and still ongoing. I just want to know how close I am to the end. Thank youuuuu
