Any interesting Xianxia to look out for?

Please leave out the braindead stuff, meaning harems and the continous reapeating of story lines. I haven't read a CN fantasy story in nearly a year, and now I suddenly got the urge to read a good cultivation story.

Please send me some of your recommendations

I haven't slept in days due to Uni-work, so I cannot guarantee how coherent/well-spelling this is going to be.

First of all, I don't really know your tastes. If you've read Ze Tian Ji and liked it, then the budget version Conquer the World might be a thing for you. Check out Mao Ni's other novels if this is the case too. Immortal might be another great option as well.

On the other hand, if you find such world building novels slow, then you could try out some lesser known gems from the past such as the action filled Undefeated God of War (not to be confused by the shit novel with a similar name) or the "Japanese shonen-like" CN novel Destroyer of Ice and Fire (haven't finished it, the quality dips after a few arcs). An excellent cliché-subverting Xianxia is Divine Throne of Primordial Blood - it makes you go "oh, I know exactly how this is going to go" at first since you've probably read some of those braindead templated novels. In the end it's more like "wait, this isn't how this is supposed to go at all!".

Two of my favorite reads right now is Chronicles of Primordial Wars and Mediterranean Hegemon of Ancient Greece (the latter does not always have the best english, but is more than adequate). Both of these are really unique.

All Er Gen novels are great, as you most likely already know. I was also going to recommend a few of the actual good novels from Q*dian too, but they seem to have dropped all of those already - there's just shit quality books left.

Edit: I thought I should include Immortal Devil Transformation here. The name, cover pic, and description all does not do the novel justice. It's actually very nice. And one of the few good novels that Wuxiaworld is translating lately.

Ah forgot to consider that there are people who wouldn’t be into the ero aspects...
But really it has much more than just the ero...
If you’re heavily against eros then the first couple hundred chaps are gonna be pretty tough on ya...
I suggest that u go through some of the reviews of those who’ve gotten thru the mtls or read the raws and spoil urself a bit before taking a call~
