Whats the list of the souls like games you played from easiest to hardest Mine's: 1.Code vein 2.Darksouls 1 3.Bloodborne 4.darksouls 3 5. Dark souls 2 6. Prinny(Idk if this is souls like but its super hard)
1.Code Vein 2. Dark Souls 3. Bloodborne (a little iffy for me as I haven't played much I was more focused on the other games in this list) 4. Dark Souls 3 5. Dark Souls 2 (SoTFS edition) Isn't Prinny a 2d or 2.5d platformer? If so it has very different combat mechanics plus the overall atmosphere and world is very different to my knowledge. It might be difficult but it is not souls-like.
Prinny is more Roguelike + Platformer + Hack n' Slash game Souls games are not my cup of tea. The closest game to a souls series I played is Megaman Legends.
wdym souls-like? although I played some DS games, but not all of it. and if it meant the difficulty then.... Darksouls 1 Darksouls 3 MHW:iceborne Armor-less run which i am currently doing rn
No one is talking about sekiro , nioh 1 & 2 , lords of the fallen , remnant and mortal shell ? They are pretty good souls like too
Prinny Blood DS 1 DS 3 DS 2 never played vein so no opinon you're the 3rd person who I've ever seen talk about that game IF YOU DIE IN THE GAME YOU DIE IN REAL LIFE!
1. Demon Souls 2. Dark souls 3.Dark Souls 3 4. Bloodborne(Probably because I did the old hunters DLC at a low blood level) 5.Dark souls 2 because this game is an abomination and is hard for the wrong reasons.
I'll never understand how Code Vein is souls like except for the landscape and atmosphere. It feels to me more of an open field anime MMORPG.
From easiest to hardest: 1. Bloodborne 2. Salt & Sanctuary (gotta say that beating The Unspeakable Deep was a pain though) 3. Dark Souls 3 4. Dark Souls 2 - Scholar of the first sin (was my first souls game, so there might be a bit of a difficulty bias here, but Fume knight still lives in my nightmares) Unranked: Sekiro (yet to play) Dark souls (yet to play)
1. Dark Souls 1 2. Nioh 1 Got all the achievements for both games. Nioh is harder in my book since I don't see myself reaching the 999th floor of abyss.
It uses some of the same mechanics such as using experience as currency, manually leveling up, dropping exp upon death, and armor weight affecting roll frames. That said it is clearly easier and fromsoftware added skills and allowed you to change your stat allocation by changing blood codes which is praised by some but it clearly just made the game even easier. That said even Nioh has its differences in that loses more free landscape traversal for mission based levels, a simple story, and its agressive combat speed is more similar to Bayonetta than Dark Souls, not to mention loot and weapon stats work completely differently. They clearly aren't a Souls game but souls-like might describe Code Vein as they just made a dumbed down anime version of their previous games.
