I would bet that the novel probably won't have such questionable scenes as it's gonna be up to your imagination. Although there's pretty big chance of the author repeatedly mentioning the handsomeness of the main characters.
Also, check Good Omens tv show, don't check it in YT unless you like BL, the fandom makes the two main characters seem like a romantic pair.
