I was hoping we can compile them all in one post for easy access and to prevent duplicate questions/spoilers popping up..but that will be too meticulous. it's also more fun to read all pages anyway. I just realized the 3 scenes you were asking were not the fluffiest lol but I'll try to post the MTL when Riftan found out Maxi sneaked in the war. Some had asked the conversation between Rosetta and Maxi so I'll post this one first. Spoiler: Maxi and Rosetta Part1 Chapter 178 _removed_ Spoiler: My thoughts I'm happy there's more to Rosetta than what Maxi thought of in her POVs. Both sisters care for each other but don't openly show it. Remember from the first chapter of Part 2 (already spoiled here), When Riftan went to visit the royal grandson (Rosetta's child)..as per Riftan's POV, Rosetta's eyes looked behind him as if searching for someone. And when Maxi went to Anatol with the wizards to wait for the paladins, Maxi asked Uslin and Yurixion news about Rosetta, if her husband is a good man. Maxi was worried if Rosetta married a violent man. They have an interesting kind of sisterhood and looking forward to more of their interactions.
So, after reading all the chapters up to the latest book 2 chapter 106, there are still some things I didn't understand and I'm curious about: (1) About Uighru the knight. Why did Uighru die? The song only tells that his body shattered to pieces(?) and he ascend to the sky but there is no backstory more about him suddenly die when Roem Empire is in golden era by King Darian and his famous 12 knights (please correct me if I was mistaken about this). Is Uighru was one of King Darian's 12 knights or he is excluded from the 12 knights squad? Why did Uighru fell in love with a dryad instead a human? I have sooo many questions about Uighru. I totally suspect that Uighru and his dryad lover, has a connection with Riftan and Maxi (and probably Quahel Leon too), just a hunch though. I mean, so many subtle hints. Like both Riftan and Quahel Leon as Uighru reincarnation seems to be mesmerised by Maxi. While Quahel Leon is more subtle, Riftan (as probably the most close in terms of Uighru reincarnation) is head over the heels about Maxi. He was so obsessed about Maxi and even horny when seeing Maxi dancing in the spring festival to the song of Uighru, both almost making out under the tree (dunno if it's an oak tree or not). In addition, Maxi has affinity of earth magic, and there were few times Maxi's beauty is being compared to a nymph/dryad. And the novel title is also "Under the Oak Tree" when Uighru the knight has passionate snusnu with his dryad lover. Then again, just a hunch and probably my fangirl radar is a bit overspeculating here and there, I'm so sorry for my long post . (2) In the second war, what is the conversation Princess Agnes had with Riftan that both of them has to go privately that made Maxi jealous. Pretty sure they were not talking about war but both Agnes and Riftan didn't want to tell what conversation it is. I'm just super curious & FOMO here Anyways, my favorite part in this novel is probably whenever Riftan is jealous to Quahel Leon. So funny to see him mad with jealousy Oh and also there are few sweet moments with Maxi and Quahel Leon too. So it's time for Quahel Leon's appreciation post Spoiler: Quahel Leon wants Maxi's cooking So in part 2 you guys already know about this Riftan being frustated and deeply hurt by Maxi that he took a great ordeal to being icy and cold towards her, rejecting her advances and stuffs like that. Somewhere in the 2nd war while Remdragon Knights, Holy Knights and Tower Wizards are camping, our cute Maxi who missed Riftan so much after being separated for 3 years, tried to get to Riftan whenever there's a chance. While seeing Riftan and Quahel debating in the camp like Tom and Jerry (as usual), Maxi who finishes doing her cooking chores for the expedition, took an initiative to bring food towards Riftan who presumably not eating any dinner yet. She took a bowl of soup (is it soup or not I kinda forgot, forgive me), and took the largest piece of meat to it and brings it towards Riftan who was still debating with Quahel Leon. Then she said here I bring you some food, please eat, I learn how to cook while in hogwarts hence I cook this myself (how cute is our Maxi ). But Riftan being a cold prick he was due being deeply hurt by Maxi, of course rejects her , only saying I'm not hungry yet, you go eat first. But Maxi said that she already ate so she didn't need to eat anymore. Riftan then again rejects her food nevertheless. Quahel Leon hearing all the couple banter, then interrupts saying "If he (Riftan) doesn't want it, then I'll take it" Everyone was surprised hearing that. Then Quahel Leon the politely asked "Can I?" Maxi of course can not refuse of such polite request then awkwardly tried to give the food towards Quahel Leon, but before she does that, Riftan immeadiately grabs her hand to prevent her. "I've changed my mind. I'm going to eat the food" said Riftan. LMAOOOOO Riftan Maxi is the helen of troy Spoiler: Quahel Leon makes Maxi faint and held her in his arms Again, apparently somewhere in the 2nd war, while the expedition is spying on the city of demons castle, Riftan goes inside the city of demons but haven't yet returned. Quahel Leon as the leader of then goes like we can't stay anymore, can't waste more precious days, we already waited and waited. But Maxi of course, being her previous protests to Quahel being dismissed (she didn't want to leave without Riftan and wants to at least continue wait for him), stopped protesting. Ruth finds it weird. And in the night, Ruth's hunch was true, Maxi tried to grab some horse and supplies to search for Riftan alone. But soon was caught in the act by Ruth and Quahel Leon. After debating hard with Quahel Leon, our Maxi didn't intend to give up and wants to "rescue" her hubby. "In that case, you leave me no choice" said Quahel Leon, tired of debating Maxi Hearing that triumph, Maxi feels a bit suspicious but soon continues to depart. Not long after that, she saw a large hand over her face and suddenly she lost all her strength and fainted. Quahel Leon then swoop Maxi in his arms and took her away. Appearantly Quahel Leon is the one who did that, he cast a paralysis spell and also heavy sleep spell. Hence, Maxi becames sleeping beauty for three days because of that. And when she wake up, she was in the wagon and was furious to Quahel Leon. Spoiler: Maxi catches Quahel Leon staring at her face After allied forces wins the siege of the Demon City, Maxi and the other wizard still have duty to collect any valuable information and also to search for monster hideout there before the place is going to be burned down to the ground by the Holy Knights. So, there's the time that Quahel Leon himself escort the wizards including Maxi. While Maxi is casting magic in doing her job, she soon exhausted, seeing that Quahel Leon ran to her like her personal escort and debated a while about why Maxi have lower mana energy then the other wizards and stuff. Apparently Quahel is curious about Maxi to the point he was blatantly staring at her. Soon it turns awkward and Maxi was like "Why are you looking at me like that?" Quahel Leon eyes widened a bit (so, at this point he was not as cold expressionless as before), probably because he was caught staring at her Apparently Maxi was feeling offended by him looking at her like that, so while Quahel asked back what kind of expression is he making, Maxi said that he was looking at her curiously as if she was some sort of a strange creature. Now, in here, since it was Maxi's POV and we all know that she have this low self-esteem issue, it was probably not like that. Quahel was definitely interested at her. My fangirl radar says so Then, Quahel soon apologized politely to her for making her feel unpleasant and the rest of the story has been spoiled before in another post before, the one that Riftan was taken aback by the fact that Quahel Leon is stuck all day with Maxi. Riftan was like why the hell Quahel has to go there himself to escort Maxi even though as the leader he doesn't need to. So, Quahel Leon at first started as a cold icy priest without showing any human emotions, but later he gradually became interested in Maxi. He definitely cares about Maxi to a great extent since he is actually quite ruthless enough to take a risk of sacrificing human lives for greater good but then again, insists on saving Maxi many times when he actually can leave her to die whatsoever. So, there is definitely a thing about Quahel Leon towards Maxi. Oh, I'm still team Riftan x Maxi too though. It's just that Quahel Leon and Maxi interactions are kinda cute in part 2
@overtanned tysm for your Kuahel appreciation post! I love how you compared Maxi with Helen of Troy and sleeping beauty lol. Kuahel indeed favors Maxi and definitely interested on her. Let me add one cute scene with them Spoiler: Kuahel grabbed sleepy Maxi One time in part 2 without the remdragon yet, exhausted Maxi sat down near the bonfire. She wrapped herself with a blanket and eat hot stew but she started to doze off and couldn't overcome her fatigue. At that time, Kuahel grabbed her back before she fall over and asked her to sleep in the tent. It was a chilly night and Kuahel being so thoughtful asked Yurixion to bring over the furnace. He was described with cold personality but acts really caring towards our Maxi.
@sweetaneng Thank you for your post adding another Quahel Leon's appreciation post cute scene , Yaaay for another Quahel fan Oh and also there are the last scene on book 2 chapter 106 that when Riftan asked to Sejour Aren for a bedroom for him and Maxi, Quahel is there too with Sejour Aren. It's like Riftan is showing off to everybody that he wants to sleep with Maxi Oh boy, I hope Quahel is okay after hearing that. Anyways, I think Riftan's jealous ranking meter towards other male characters was this: 1. Quahel Leon. Handsome with his blonde hair and piercing green eyes. Riftan took notice of him being strangely caring towards Maxi as explained already in the previous Quahel Leon's appreciation post. That's why probably between the other males, Riftan is jealous to Quahel probably the most. LMAO 2. Sejour Aren. Sejour Aren is a gentleman with curly brown hair and green eyes. He is the person with the most polite manner, cassanova, prince charming type amongst any other male characters towards Maxi (even though it's not by romantic means). You know the 'Knightly charms towards maiden', Maxi even blushed because of it, and Riftan of course hated whenever he sees it . He even asked maxi if she likes a guy like that (prince charming type)?. LOL. Riftan is kinda feeling insecure. I am even thinking about making a Sejour Aren's appreciation post, the one that Sejour Aren insists wanting to escort Maxi to the library, but Riftan of course doesn't want that to happen and tries to steal Maxi from him . 3. Richt Blesson. Ew, just ew. Super creepy. This barbaric notherner, at first he is utterly rude towards Maxi due to his dislikeness towards Riftan. But on part 2, he blatantly said his interest on making Maxi his wife(?) He said that when the war ends, if Riftan didn't make it, Maxi probably has a chance becoming a widow and finally he will have a chance with Maxi Riftan is super furious hearing that to the point he is threatening Richt with knife , you go boyyy, Riftan my boy. To add more, If the 7 kingdoms peace alliance broke after 2nd war ends, Richt said that war between another kingdoms could happen. Maxi is in danger because that man is eyeeing Maxi like a leech, more like targeting Maxi as his next prey. This is just my paranoid thoughts tho, but I'm afraid that Richt/Balto kingdom will attack Anatol to steal Maxi (whom Richt acknowledges as Roem princess) from Riftan. Maxi could indeed be like Helen of Troy. My overly speculative fangirl thoughts is at high alert. It's just other males are drooling for her even though Maxi is clearly married to Riftan. 4. Ruth. So many times I couldn't even count. But he knows actually that Ruth doesn't have any special relationship with Maxi, it's just that he was overly possessive and jealous man. 5. Elliot Karon. See Elliot Karon's appreciation post below 6. Hebaron (many times Hebaron tries to get Maxi drunk and Riftan is furious because of this), already explained in the previous spoilers. 7. Probably any other male breathing alive other than Yurixion, Garowoo, Rodrigo and Medrick Poor Riftan have so many competitors and that's why he probably always anxious most of the time, I feel you my bro.
IKR! I am so excited for the next chapter because obviously our couple can finally talk properly but also because I'd like to see Kuahel's reaction lol. I love Maxi and Riftan so much so don't get me wrong haha. The jealous meter ranking!! Riftan easily gets jealous whenever guys are around his wife it's so cute. I would rank Elliot at 5th place though. Among remdragon knights, he got the most riftan jealous moments. 1.One time when the princess is in Anatol, she went to the training field and found Riftan having a match with a royal knight. Maxi was so terrified and Elliot came to her. He reassured her that they are just having a sparring session and even held her LOL..at that moment, Riftan finally ended the match. Riftan can easily defeat the knight but was holding back..only after Elliot held Maxi, that he finish the fight and won. He immediately went to Maxi after that and grabbed her away from Elliot. 2.While they are in a horse ride, Maxi was exhausted and our ever gentleman Elliot offered to let her ride with him and lean on him LOL. Yurixion even said that it has to be with him since he is Maxi's escort. And the jelly hubby in front suddenly decided to give everyone a break.
By the way, I've edited the Riftan's jealous meter ranking. Elliot totally deserves in the 5th place, yaaay Basically every other male breathing alive other than Riftan makes him jealous

I think Quahel likes Maxi, but he didn't it realize yet, he probably surprise himself in the fact that he stared at Max like that
Now that Quahel Leon's face is revealed, now I'm curious about what Elliot Karon's face looked like. Was his face already revealed in the manhwa? As far as I recognized, only Hebaron, Uslin and Gabel's face is revealed. Yurixion's face is still blurred, LOL.
I think Elliot will appear only after the werewolves attacked Anatol while Riftan was subjugating goblins. That was his first appearance in the novel. Too bad it might take months to see that. Elliot!!
Well the manhwa artist is kind enough to show the face of Kuahel to the readers very early, even before Yurixion, lol. so hopefully Elliot will show up soon, let's all be hopeful. Cheerssss
