I've actually (lol) read most of them. The Dark King seemed really promising at first, but then they inserted 50 chapters of him hiding from some monster.. I will read the Legend of the Great Sage though, it sounds really promising.
I've read over 500 chapters of The Dark King, IMO it was a great novel and the MC has a lot of character building too.
Isn't that the same thing? He has to pretend that he's a nice guy to uphold his public image, which is the same thing as hiding the fact that he isn't a nice guy so he doesn't ruin his public image
I second Trash of the Count's Family. He ransmigrated to sb else and hides it. And he schemes sneakily a lot. Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint: he hid from his compagnions that he knew about them from a book. That creates drama afterwards. A Returner's Magic Should Be Special: the MC doesn't tell his friends that he knows the future. Bug Player: the MC transmigrated to a side-character in a game. A Wild Last Boss Appeared: the MC played a game. He then transmigrated to a world like that game and his game character is an important figure. He goes on a journey to regroup with his comrades and figure things out while hiding that he is not who he seems.
