You could also tell me if Navier at any point figured out that it was due to Heiley and duke Ergy machinations that she divorced Sobieshu as Heileny wanted her even more than war. She was his Trophy queen afterall.

That’s news to me. Though honestly idk if we should give those guys credit for the divorce. Sovieshu had things pretty well in hand by himself.

Alright! I was able to buy cookies again to get more of the official unreleased chapters from naver. To my doom I have to use naver ebook app to open them, and as I don't know korean and the app won't translate or even let me copy the chapters I can't read them. I've been trying to translate the chapters from pc ebook app by taking pictures with phone and translating this way, but it takes ages to do and sometimes translation is funny.
Does anyone use naver and bought the original novel like I did?
How do you read it if you don't undestand korean? Is there a way to copy the chapters from the ebook app at all?

As I'm translating at a snail pace I can only spoil this:
in chp 217 Navier will send her maid to check upon Sovieshu, because she was worried about his mental brakedown and falling unconscious after he saw Heinley wearing the Fairy Gem on his neck (Sovieshu gave it to Navier - it's a gem one of a kind, and quite priceless, and as it's a gem of legends and little Navier and Sovieshu made a promise upon it, it's extremely important to Sovieshu)

Does anyone have access to the original unreleased chapters? I mean 220+

Those were just the tips of an iceberg really.
If you read the novel like a romance you focus only on Navier road from being a divorced and hurt empress to the point she took her place in the West Empire, became a mother etc. And it sound so good and epic.

Try to focus on the little things, the shadows of the plot though. Treat the novel like history of spying or drama.
Look at Heinley sweet acting and lying all the time from the beginning. The facts that he not only attack Eastern empire internally with the use of stones, he himself and his people destroyed the nobles and royal family relationships there. They even used Rashta idiocy to depose Navier, destroy duchess Tuatha marriage and get rid of the Landry, who was a shadow knights captain. They even used Rashta in anyway possible and then dispose of her, damaging Sovieshu image and destroying their internal affairs. Duke Elgy manipulations were amazing. He was a prince from a 3rd nation though, and he used his position to get close into social circles, spy on information there and then give Rashta all those 'good and helpful ideas'.
OMG. Why nobody speaks about it? That all those bad things that happen to Navier because of Rashta trying to mimic her was because Elgy told the slave to act like that. Rashta was an uneducated silly girl. She didn't have any power in the palace, she didn't have any saying in diplomatic relations or social circles. None. And then one day she somehow knows things buried deep about duchess life, or starts acting like Navier. Sovieshu fell in love with her, because she was different from cold Navier, yet Elgy made it so that Rashta was trying her best to become next Navier. Whose ideas was that I ask?!

Author is meticulous in writing about this, but he also manipulates the readers by giving flashier things to think about. We focus on unhappy Navier, silly Rashta or playful Heinley, almost nobody sees what is happening around them.

Heinley did everything he could to weaken Eastern Empire. So what he didn't start open war? He already won, by weakening their military might, destroying the noble circles and stealing their perfect empress. He always got what he wanted. His plans were truly point on.
Destruction of wizards/military might, cutting their amazing empress from their nation, destroying eastern royal family image and connections. I should maybe rephrase all that: Heinley won the war of shadows and his prize was not only the fall of the Eastern empire position in the world, he won a trophy empress - perfect woman, born and raised to be a ruler. Where could he get another woman like Navier?

I also always wondered why, seriously why, even after Navier got to know that Heinley is the golden bird she didn't question anything what he did while being inside Eastern Empires palace? Like the fact he was visiting her in her room, and had access to all her documents and political affairs. The fact he knew who she was before they revealed themselves after all those letters. He wasn't a dumb bird, he was himself in the form of a bird he could read and understand everything then. And after all those times he went to her place, and she even let him sleep with her there. Like really?! Why didn't she question that?

And what pains me the most is why the hell did she let him change her so much. Heinley made her into a marionette for himself to play with. She reacted like he wanted, and he acted in a way to appeal to her so lied over and over again. He made cute, sad, playful faces for her to 'enjoy' him. But look at it from another perspective: He meticulously pointed her to the way he wanted her to think and feel about him and for her to act and react like wanted her to. Not only he doesn't show her his true colors and blocks all tries to unlock his past or his true self, he lies looking into her eyes smiling. EVERYDAY he puts a mask to cheat her.

He told her he won't start a war (as West was already ready to attack after what they prepared and did) because of his love to her, but it was to uphold his image and plans, as she was another mans wife before, and not only any man, THE EMPEROR Heinley was jealous his entire life of and felt inferior to. Heinley is greedy and calculative. Think about the time wizard Evely lost her powers, the only reason he decided to return them to her was because Navier was too hung on the topic. He always, always throws Navier a bone to gnaw on and points her into different direction from the things she would and should think about.

I could write this all day over and over again, but in my opinion Heinely is the main villain of the story. And poor Navier went from the rain under the gutter. Sovieshu was arogant and cold, but his life and Navier herself forced him to be like that (as he wasn't like that before becoming the emperor). And Heinley is the true mastermind behind all the bad things that unfold, he also planned her life for her really well.
The drama! The emotions! The mystery!

The author should become a CIA agent.

So uh take this with a grain of salt since I found this on a Facebook group that was taken from Spanish translations but this is very poetic if true so I have to post it

So rahstas daughter gloriem gets adopted by bandits. Well the name her monwt or soemthing. So after 14 year soviet meets her but shes dressed as a Male cuase she wants to be a knight. I hope she told him to die

And she becomes bffs with Naviers daughter Lars(jesus why that name though ) and apparently there's teasing shes gonna end up with Naviers son

If someone could confirm thats true I'll leave it for now. I'm wary cause this really sounds like fanfiction but the person who posted it got other stuff right so..

But I dunno I just find it funny that Rashtas kid really became the royal she wanted her to be.

And if this does turn out to be true I'd rather we have gotten a full Novel about her instead of a few side stories

Also @Tarnar I never liked heinley either but was too afraid to say it. You gave great points in why I was right in not liking gom

Good men dont become kings. A book I read had a quote where the devil told the MC that most of his ancestors who were kings ended in hell

And I persoablly also believe that if there is a hell In these novels almost all of these royal MLs we love will end up there

I always found all three of them to be very punchable(shitheel, heinly, and elgy). It got even worse when I saw the artwork in the video above.

If you are reading these for any kind of morality a nature documentary about minks in heat would probably be better.

I didn't manage to read all the chapters I unlocked before their license expired - I know now, it's better to unlock one at a time, not a bunch because the timer starts not after opening the chapter but in the moment you use cookies and get access to the chapter. :(
I don't know Korean so I translated slowly with my phone. Please don't lynch me.
    Prepare for the spoilers:
After Sovieshu lost his consciousness at the end of chapter 216 he wasn't able to recover for more than 2 hours even after the medics that checked him up said there was nothing wrong with him physically. But because he was Navier ex-husband she was concerned about him, so she send countess Zubert to check up what happened to him, telling her servant though that she shouldn't stay around Ss quarters for to long as N didn't want to give Heinley any reason to get upset.
After countess comes back and says she couldn't see S and she doesn't know what actually happened N starts to question Ss attack. She thinks about if giving H 'The Tears of the Fairy' was such a big stimulus to S that even if he lost his memory, he unconsciously remembered his anger? (as she knows he regressed to his past and doesn't have any memory of the past six years)
The next day H leaves N at dawn to do his work, and while she's eating breakfast alone Grand Duke Kapmen (or whatever his name is ^^) visits her. He tells her that his friend- the ice wizard he spoke of with N before- the one that hates nobles came to the capital. N+GDK decide to meet GDKs friend in a cafe near the palace in two hours. GDK was upset because of Ns plan to use commoner clothes and a simple carriage. She got changed and talked with her servants, and soon after she went out of the palace with GDK and viscount Landre and his knights. While they rode the carriage GDK tells N about his friend advising her again about ice wizards foul mouth. He tells her that he told his friend about her but that: her name is Navier, she's a daughter of a rich merchant family and she's a wizard too, but because she had weak body she didn't attend academy. N thinks a bit about the silly way she tried to copy commoners speak before and that she should never use such tongue again. GDK reads her mind and reacts trying to avoid the topic. They both laugh silently. N is grateful to GDK because she knows that he knows that she's in a hurry to avoid Sovieshu, but he's pretending not to know.
They shortly arrive at a designated place. They go inside cafe and met with an ice wizard. IW greets GDK in a very friendly way there is some small talk between them, and then GDK introduces N to his friend. They start talking about N weak magic, and if IW could advise GDK+N how to rise her proficiency in it, but the IW refuses to help. IW+GDK start to talk about some other things, and while N is uninterested in their conversation she's eating her desert and watching street outside the window but then a brown carriage stops near the cafe a man with a hat covering his face comes out. N thinks she just saw Sovieshu as newcomers body reminded her of him (she knew him very well). She overreacts that he will come inside the cafe and meet her. N is surprised but as she's meeting in disguise she thinks a lot about her wig and clothes and that nobody who could not met royal family before shouldn't be able to recognize her right now or at this point anyone else also. She's stressing more and more though and GDK gets interested too in her commotion and tells her it's better to check up first if S is really coming inside to met them and then she should try to leave the cafe covering herself more and avoiding S. She starts getting sick from wory as she thinks she made eye contact with Sovieshu. GDK tells her there is medicine in the carriage and he will check if the man is really the S. IW who earlier didn't even looked at N now starts to speak to her. She's covering her face with a fan. As she's really in huge distress she almost blows her cover in front of him using her normal speech.
I hope you liked it, there won't be more like this anymore. It takes a lot of time to get the meaning of the translation right.

Alright, I lied. Prepare for next. But I hope this will be shorter:
Grand Duke Kapfmen friend looks like, ‘I think I know who you are.’ Also Navier thinks she made and eye contact with Sovieshu earlier so she's truly afraid. Ice Wizard is pestering her, but instead of answering, N thinks that meeting S in the cafe would be more embarrassing. She stood up and wanted to go, politely saying goodbye to IW and forgetting about the way she speaks at the moment (blowing her cover and confirming noble status). Her thoughts surround the the idea that there was no need to show the couple's quarrel in front of GDKs friend. She's ready to leave.
In the meantime S, who had climbed the stairs, passed by the side, but did not look back. But then he stopped and naturally chase after N, she walked without looking back all the way forward to the entrance. She encountered GDK. He looked at her and behind her and made a "Oops" expression. She didn't know exactly what happened, but it seemed that the road was off.
Sovieshu calls Navier by her name. She ignores him and goes straight to her carriage without stopping. When she's almost free and tries to close the door, he stops her and calls her again. She wants to run from him really badly. Escorting her Landre doesn't stop S (well he can't mess with and emperor, right?). She asks S
"Did you come out to play?" , he says
"Ah" and as N uses the pause she rushes to close the carriage door and S stands in amazement. N hits the wall of the carriage and forces the driver to leave, moving on towards the palace and leaving S outside the cafe.
She's a total nerve wrack at this point.
After getting farther away from the cafe, N became curious. She came out to meet GDKs friend, but what about Sovieshu? "Why was he there? Could it have anything to do with his coming here to investigate the phenomenon of reduced magic power?" After thinking for a moment, she opened the carriage door and asked Viscount Landre.
"Can you hide near the cafe before and investigate where Emperor Sovieshu is going?”
Navier goes to her room. After some time she call countess Zuber to check why Sovieshu went outside. It appears he went to get some fresh air. N starts to remember about her talk with Ice Wizard, and thinks that even if he recognized her as empress he didn't want to help her with her magic, so it didn't matter. She drinks a lot of tea in the meantime, and as she wants to speak about all the action with Heinley she send Masters for an errand.
In the evening viscount Landre comes back from his 'spying' action. VL said that after Soviesu moved from the cafe, he continued to search for him, but he also said that it was not easy to find because S was also riding a non-characteristic carriage like Navier. When he finally found it, he said he was in a shabby restaurant near the city gate. N was shocked and asked to confirm:
“Sovieshu was in a shabby restaurant?”
    “Yes”.
VL answered and waited, and N thought it didn't suit S, as S in her eyes was always a lump of pride. She was concerned he might've changed even more than she could see after memory loss.
It was a combination that didn't suit S so much that N got suspicious. She wonder if there is a tremendous secret hidden in the shabby restaurant about the phenomenon of magical power decline? When she thought about that, she became nervous and urgently asked. "What were he doing there?" . Her thoughts went into doubt as if Sovieshu found traces of the scene of the decrease in the power, and that this might bring up war. She thought that if Heinley declared war it would be just a desire to conquer, but if Soviesu causes a war on the basis of a decrease in magical power, he will have a superior justification.
Upon urging, VL confessed with a reluctant face that S was fighting in this shabby restaurant. N was embarrassed as she thought that S discovered that he was spied on and was fighting with Naviers escort who she send to spy on S, but VL told her S was fighting with some drunkard. He said:
“I think the drunkard was saying bad things about Her Majesty. The bloody empress is not good or something like that. Hearing that, he argued a little..." ('Her Majesty' as drunkard offended Navier, and 'he' meaning Sovieshu argued with the man)
Some time later N stills can't get over the entire deal with S fighting with drunkard in shabby restaurant. She messes up a lot of paper just painting it with ink while sitting at her desk. She has doubts about why S went there, but she is more concerned about the fact he protected her honor. She kept thinking about how arogant he always was, and that she would preferred if he got his memory back as Empreror S would never get into fight like that, and from an argument like this, but prince S was like another man.
Her thoughts come to stop, when Heinley comes into the room, and gets all touchy-kissy. He seems more happy than usual. But as they proceed with hugging and touching, H has a 'rising' problem, and he goes to the bathroom. N with red face asks for some food to be brought in. H comes back from bathroom and N still embarrassed starts talking about her visit to the town and meeting S there. H says he had more important things to do today and he couldn't stick to S at all.
Then while they eat there is a long conversation between them something about Heinley clan and rumors about Navier maids, but the translation was so bad I have no idea what was it about to be honest.
Sovieshu at night, woke up in his bed with his memories back, he then proceed to read a very long paper from his 'younger' self of the things that happened during day. He recollected some memory of blue jewel and silver vest (when Heinley wore 'Tears of the Fairy" Sovieshu was in his younger mind mode). He started sighing: "Navier" and as he removed the blanket, got up and walked to the window he started suffering. The fact that N was not far away was giving him pain and comfort at the same time.
He got his shit together soon after, read the note from his daily activities and after that with only his knight commander he went outside his room to look for the place in the palace that he himself pointed after his daily research about the vanishing of magic power.
The mentioned place appeared to be one of the many empty rooms in the palace. An empty room made with no purpose. There was no knight standing at the door.
After instructing the knight commander to stay in front, Sovieshu opened the door and went inside. The inside was dark with no light. There were no curtains, so only the moonlight came in through the window. And then out of nowhere a familiar voice came from the side.

Do you have enough? I'm writing what I read, but I'm unable to copy the text so it's all mashed from my perspective.

Hi. May I ask if this novel already ended? And if so, what happened? Did heinley and navier completely opened up to each other? (you know revealing each other's real self, esp on heinley's part). I mean, is it possible to keep their relationship under the pretense of the wife isn't actually 100% trusting the other and the husband still putting on a mask in front of his wife? Also, whatever happened to christa around this time? THANK YOU!!

Yes, it's all on NAVER. All 325 chapters. They release 2 chapters per week for free read at novel naver, but as there is 216 in the open right now, it will take a year for all the chapters to be accessible without paying for them.
From what I read, Heinley stayed in his mask and never revealed everything he did to his wife, but as Navier fall in love with him, she opened to him (or more like she loved the version of himself that he let her knew of) more and more as the time passed.
Heileny send her to the retired queens mansion, and locks her up there, like seriously with bars and wooden planks in the windows and doors. She won't be able to leave outside at all , and only through a little hole in one of the doors Heinley servants were providing food and stuff inside for Christa and her entourage inside.
It is written in the novel that she committed suicide, when by the order of Heinley his aide McKenna sends her a letter stating that her father - duke Zena, abandoned her for his son and grandchildren. After this there is entire 'Zena family' plot, with assassinations and meddling and rumors etc.

True. That's why people who only see saint Heinley and sing praises about him make me wonder about the state of their minds. ^^

Heinley did reveal his plans to Navier, it comes later and with more complications. Sovieshu came to "visit her" and maybe treat his memory loss but the real reason was to find more info about the mana manipulation. Navier had to free Heinley and deal with the transcontinental knights who wanted to sabotage the two empires and get more power.

She also finds out that he is the bird and has a lot of conflicting feelings, like embarrassed of her behavior and seeing him naked, also feeling betrayed at first and then understanding his flaws and accepting it.

Christa committed suicide because she felt betrayed by her father, Heinley didn't send her letters. She was abandoned when her father didn't protect her during the trial and didn't visit her within that month she spent in Compshire. The old duke then used her death to justify his "criticism" of the royal couple.

That's true. Sovieshu came to Western Empire to search for the reason of mana loss, and he tried to get Navier forgive him in the meantime, even asking her to let them get back together. Sovieshu court had the reasons to suspect West about the phenomenon.
While S is in the Western palace he is confronted at some point by Navier, and she tells him that she knows that he's there to search about the mana loss and she feels really sad that it wasn't only for his memory loss treatment and her. She's angry at Sovieshu for using his memory loss pretext as a way to get close to her. They part ways in this manner.
That story happens rather late when Navier is already in Western empire, but before her weeding with Heinley. Yes, she's embarrassed by seeing him naked as he's 'well build' as a man, but her questioning of all the bird Queen things is rather wiped under the rug in my opinion. As it didn't bring anything later and she confronted him about this only once.
It is written in the novel that McKenna indeed wrote her a letter and put it in the meal send to her mansion where she was imprisoned.

All those things are in released chapters on novel naver, you just need to translate them yourself from Korean.

And that's a news to me, I've read only until Chapter 227 from the naver original page.
