Was picturing more Van dressed up because Santa is luxury to him and Tiamat as a WILF slipping in with the kids to ask for a kid and cut to his harem members thinking 'that was an option?'
I think that more than dressing for luxury it would be because of the happy faces of the children and that of wearing a male beard (Remember Van's dream, the body of a lumberjack, or if possible one of Vigaro, with a beard and a rough voice)

I approve of your observation and deduction! Indeed, many settings make an effort to avoid giving authoritarian power to one deity when there are multiple relevant deities present. I think a decent real-life analogy is the difference between the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch in the United States of America (for all of you non-Americans out there, much love). The Executive Branch is run by the President of the United States, and while he is functionally the leader of the nation, it is technically NOT in his authority to create new laws; that would be the Legislative Branch, what we know as the House of Representatives and the Senate, or Congress if we don't feel like differentiating. The Executive Branch serves to approve and enforce the laws as passed by the Legislative Branch, and only really take charge of affairs during times of war. Executive Orders were originally intended to be stopgap measures to help enforce existing legislation, as opposed to the total usurpation of the role of the Legislative Branch it has become in the post-WWII era (actually, it kinda started during the Great Depression when FDR became President, some years before WWII).
More than likely after the fight with fitun van's soul got powerful enough to cross the barrier between worlds. It might of taken a few days for his soul to digest everything though.
Had a thought on the previous chapter. Fridge logic strikes. A. Peria never was in the location Ricklent went to and just gave Juliana the real one B. She's trying to stay neutral to end the war later C. She gave the location of the earth goddess since if she switched when Ricklent said was the best time her sister would have security cranked up, be staked for the 'crime' of possibly maybe joining Van, or outright killed by Alda.
Please remember that the killing of gods is basically impossible unless you can break souls. Alda can’t do that.
Other than killing all their worshippers when they're in a coma-like state. How does Alda plan to have everything go back to pre-Guduranis invasion if he's causing something to be irreversible, to kill Vida, if he succeeded.
If it wasn’t clear already, Alda is delusional and chasing after an impossibility. Even the completely human societies would have beyond major issues trying to go back to those days. Humans fight amongst themselves now which would have been impossible back then. There’s the adventurer profession which likewise wasn’t a thing back then due to no monsters or status system. He also can’t remove the status system so that’s another thing he can’t change back to the old days since that was only put into place because of Gudu’s invasion.
