So, after a lot of deliberation, I'm stuck with Redmi Note 9 as a new phone choice. I was once a loyal Samsung user but I've changed my mind. The question now is, Is it worth it?
Unless you're bothered about Xiaomi selling your information to Mother China, it's a good buy. You can get more specs than Samsung at the same price.
...there's already Note 9? I am still using Redmi Note 2. I am not changing phones until this one completely breaks.
I think it's an ok buy since my dad uses a redmi 7 and two of my friends use the pro version. Not to mention I myself use an mi smartphone. They're pretty good. Reasonable price. Good product. Fastidious with 4G VOLTE and LTE(though that's available for most phones in the current time). Inbuilt storage of about 64 GB. Long battery life(at least for me it still is). Hmm....well it's a good buy. Samsung is a good one too. Actually I would say both are good enough choices. So you can choose either.
Google chan and every other social media platform sells that anyway There is no one on the nets whose biodata China doesnt ahve at this point Realme 7 pro/narzo is another alternative tho
I have Redmi Note 9 Pro, myself is it a good one. Yeah it has good specs (even camera is quite good). I am a developer and when I develop for android it even helps with giving reports about errors and such. Overall, it is very good phone for the money, fc if you are fine with china stealing your info. In addition, it has basic waterproofing (You can't submerge it in water but not a problem if used in rain or small drops on the screen). Fast charging is really good, it nearly charges from 0% to 100% in <30-40 min. But Knowing all of this points aren't even as close as this one. It is durable and I won't feel a thing about it breaking (except being sad for several minutes for losing money). I loved my last HTC One M8. To this day that phone works normally and if not for developing purposes needing more new one with better ram and Android System, would not have bought this one. But Redmi, I wouldn't mind even if I have to change it tomorrow (except money thing).
I misread the title and thought it said, "Is Redmi Note 9 a good boy?" I was ready to attach a 'who's a good boy' dog clip and everything...
Redmis are cheaper to repair compared to Apples and Samsungs. They are easier to dismantle too. As for quality, Xiaomi and Huawei are pretty good brands for mid-tier phones. From a price to performance ratio perspective, it's a very good buy. Source: Dude who helped out someone who has started a phone repair business. Addendum: Did you know that Samsung screens can cost up to about 90% of their original phone prices? lol
I hear they are decent, though I can't help but wonder why they call it a "Note" when it has no stylus.
Oh right, I forgot to mention but check out notebookcheck. One of the few websites who does technical reviews of these devices. Takes out a lot of the "guess work" than just good or bad. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Xiaom...r-Redmi-9-with-a-64-MP-quad-cam.494412.0.html
I prefer the Huawei P30 since the camera is just too good and I'm too lazy to take my DSLR outside. But the Redmi note 9 is fine for phone usage.
If OP is going to buy Xiaomi, he/she better not make anti-China posts using that phone. He might get arrested when he/she lands on China hahaha. At least Google-chan only using the data to earn more monies.
I own one after being a user of Samsung, then Asus. Waited till my Zenbfone 3's battery give up before the switch. For me, it's a good solid phone that handles all my needs - calls, texts, and surfing the net. I like that there are many modes like dark mode and bedroom mode because I often stare at my screen for hours. It helps me curb off my browsing tendencies. I also like that it has a lost phone feature like the iPhone so I could delete all the info if it got stolen. I love the camera even though I'm a user that really doesn't like the camera or taking photos. Themes app gives me the opportunity to download as many fonts and, wallpapers and themes that I like. But the main selling point for me is the battery which lasts like one and a half-day of my usage. Overall, I can't find fault coz it is all I want for a phone although it is a bit higher in specs and price compared to its Realme counterpart. Could recommend it if anyone asked.
