Yo! I just finished binging Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint and Little Tyrant doesn't want a Bad Ending, and my novel standards have shot up real high. Do y'all have any recommendations that'll keep me into it for a week? I'm really too lazy to give the ones I've read, but my requirements are: Completed/A lot of chapters(Undropped) Romance (Harem or No Harem works, B/G relationship) Action (A lot, a little, it's fine either way) Male Protagonist Tragedy is fine Rape/NTR is a No go I'm biased against CN novels, like, really biased, so if you recommend a CN novel, gimme a short reason as to why. Try my list, I read both novels that you mentioned. But I highly recommend The Legendary Mechanic, Cultivation Chat Group, Transcending the Nine Heavens, Lord of the Mysteries. These are all CN. Reason? They are 1000 plus chapters translated and popular for a reason. | V
I put it on-hold at chapter 490 to stock up on chapters, but there is an ambiguous love interest for protag. It's slow, late romance.
It's not enough to merit the Romance Tag, but there's still some pretty cute romance parts. I know TLM and LoTM, but they don't have romance right? Personally, it took me a while to get through ORV as there wasn't any romance, but is LoTM and TLM enough to disregard that? I'll follow your opinion regardless of your background XD. TLM has romance, but it's late and slow. It's hinted breadcrumb by breadcrumb the use of show and not tell storytelling, and small gradual progress happens at around 1000 chapters in LOTM, as far as I have read at chapter 1050, no romance. Although characters are awesome, and there are heroines - that aren't love interests but shows the mc can observe beauty even if they don't have man-woman relations at all.

The Record of Unusual Creatures, completely translated at 1773 chapters. Has romance, but doesn't really kick in for most of the novel. Looks like a harem at first glance, but it's not. Slow start though.

Dont know why you are biased against CN really? Cause all quality novels i find are CN, i have yet to find gem KR novels. All of them are short and good but not the best. Few jap novels i really like but most of them are CN. I will give Omniscient Reader's viewpoint solid 4 but far from being masterpiece like these. 1. Lord of Mysteries (4.7) 2. My House of Horrors (4.6) 3.Cultivation Chat Group (4.6) 4. Release that Witch (4.5) 5. Overlord ( 4.5) 6. Reverend Insanity/Warlock of magus world (4.3/4.0) Ratings speak for themselves but even if they were rated shit my list would be same and read the reviews. One last thing i do not like romance so ithink Release that Witch has some romance other novels dont have much.
Generally, most of the CN novels I've read get repeated, there's a huge block of info that's much longer than necessary, face slapping, unneeded racism... fun. Although the ones you've suggested don't really have romance, I'll take a look anyway. Some KR novels I rec. are ORV, Second Coming of Gluttony(Though Seol's a pussy when it comes to women), and if you're into EER, then you'll def like the rest of the Author's series. Though, I've seen from most reviews that CN protags are chads, so you might not like KR protagonists. They're usually not as... strong as CN protagonists. But they definitely are less of a pussy than most JP protagonists. At least, that's just my opinion.
Well you havent read the Quality CN novels. I mean i have been reading novels for 6/7 years and i have yet to find a KR masterpiece. EER looks totally overrated to me, it was average at best. Solo Leveling and seoul's station necromancer was one of the fun novels i read and yea they were fun but wouldnt call them masterpiece. To sum up second comming of gluttony overall it was not terrible story but not good either. Author had limited IQ which is why mc sometimes comes across as foolish . And its typical harem novel. Chad mc are mostly found in KR and CN cause wishfulfillment reasons duh. Nobody likes a doormat wussy. What CN novels have you read? Which CN novels you hate? Just wanted to know cause i can sure recommend you a lot of good novels.
