Another 'alternative' source is to highlight that string of glyphs that is only slightly more cryptic than the romanized titles submitted with many Japanese novels, right-click on it, and search for it. Google and duckduckgo work just as well for this. One of the top few links will be the original source of the translation. If you have a browser like chrome that integrates 'google translate', you can read the original novels and support the original author directly with your views.

The funny thing is, although the pronouns seem to be randomly chosen, and some obvious inversions of gender, verbs and descriptions occur, the mistakes ARE obvious, so you can follow along and read the story just fine. Well, I can, anyways. I suppose it's experience from the many 'translators' who simply use a machine translation, then copy/paste and edit (poorly).

The up-side of this for you is the author's original content is typically months or even years ahead of the snail-pace that many translation projects go. The translators are often even slower than George R. R. Martin.

Anyways, when the 'translation' is on chapter 14 after a year, but the original was published starting in 2015, and has over 500 chapters, there isn't any particular need to wait, or hope that you can read just one week faster with a donation, when reading the original is quite understandable (but seldom 'pretty'), and grants at least readership statistics to the actual author, if not more focus that their works are being actively sought out and read across cultures, which could lead to 'official' translations, releases and other projects that pay the real authors for their ORIGINAL works and encourages them to keep writing.

Please specify what you're talking about. Who are you talking to? Isaac20? Many what? Websites? Which what? The websites for fiction? Check the first page. :hmm:

I just want to make sure I'm not talking to an advertising bot/account.

Medium has some fiction here or there, though it's mostly non-fiction.
