There are too many games from Ai-chan's childhood that Ai-chan would suggest and still plays. So Ai-chan will only list the games Ai-chan has installed right now.

    X-Com: Apocalypse
It's technically the third of the X-Com game, if you do not consider the flight simulator and first person shooter game spinoffs as part of the series. You play as the organization that has to protect the last city on a devastated Earth (after the events of the second game) from interdimensional aliens. But this time, you can choose to play turn-based or real-time. You can also pause the game in real-time to make split-second decisions easier. The 3D models of equipments look kind of lazy, but if you consider that it's on par with Babylon 5's 3D rendering stuff, it's not too bad. Not only can you fight aliens, you can also raid other organizations either to find some high tech alien technology or just to massacre them and burn their buildings. Attacking Cult of Sirius with rocket launchers are really fun because Ai-chan doesn't have to watch for reputation hits. If a cultist comes out, boom, there goes the rocket. We want to inflict maximum damage on them anyway.

The game used to be a pain in the ass to run with DosBox, but now that GOG tinkered with DosBox, they've been able to make this game work just like it used to back during the days of Windows ME & XP. The more recent X-Com reboot took a lot of inspiration from X-Com: Apocalypse instead of the original first game.

    Metal Fatigue
The best way to describe it is 'a bunch of giant robots shooting and hacking at each other while the aliens lol in the back'. You got 3 corponations: RimTech, MilAgro and Neuropa all vying for supremacy over each other and control over Hedoth techs and ruins.

RimTech, is basically your average human militaristic corporation with technology that you would expect from humans if we were to advance for another hundred years. TThey have a good mix of defense and attack, and a good option of energy and physical equips. As Diego Angelus, the big brother, you support this faction.

Mil Agro is short for 'militarist agriculture', which is run in a monarchic authoritarian style where the Cobb family at the top give orders and the people below execute to the death due to a successful brainwashing (and brain implant) measures to ensure loyalty. They have low tech equipments, using more physical weapons but their physical weapons hit very hard and their robots are very tough. As the second brother, you were rescued by the Mil Agro and was forced to do their bidding.

The Neuropa is the most alien of them all. They're still human, but they worship Hedoth technology and the faction with the most understanding of Hedoth techs. They focus on energy weapons and high tech equipments but are mostly fragile if you can get up close and hit them with a Mil Agro axe. As the third brother, you ran off to this faction to make money and become a messiah.

While the controls are kind of old fashioned, it still holds up to day. It may not be as streamlined as modern games, but there's no other games like it. Mechwarrior and Mechcommander series are completely different.

A long time ago when I first started playing games, there was this PC game where you collected monsters and used them to fight other monsters, but it was not Pokémon. It was also in first person, and I remember the first area to be something like a forest-y maze. There might have been a market where you could get new monsters, or maybe convince monsters to join your side instead.

I don't even remember the name of the game, so I'm just trying my luck here after remembering I tried very hard searching for it a year or two ago but failed to get any leads.

Nah, rockets are expensive. Line a row of troopers up with dual Disruptor Rifles and forcefire at the extreme far bottom end of the map. By the time they stop firing, the temple would have lost all ground level supports and come crashing down around the cultist's ears. Accuracy? With 12 rifles splashing the whole place, what is accuracy? lol.

I have played Super Mario alot in my younger days. Sometimes I still play old games. But now I want to create my gamertag. Can anyone suggest the good website. I have searched a lot and I found Xbox Clicks which is a unique gamertag generator. If you have any other idea then please share with me.

I like Super Mario RPG. I always wish they would release it to the switch's online library or remade it.

    I was going to say...

When I was little, I played games like:
    Minecraft
    Animal Jam
    Howrse
Chicken Smoothie (I still play it now, kinda)
    Bitlife

    Currently, I play:
    Dragon Cave
    Torn City

After looking at everyone else's recommendations though, mine seem so childish and not even the right type of game :blobrofl::blobrofl::blobrofl:

I’ve been so bored that I started picking up recommendations myself and started playing Chrono Trigger (on sale on St*am rn btw) and absolutely loving it. The controls on PC are a little janky, but the story and gameplay makes up for it. I can understand why people loved it and continue to recommend it today.

These were some of my favorite games in middle school, so they should count as old enough:
    • Master of Orion 2
    • Zoo tycoon (not the remake with the same name)
    • Return to Castle Wolfenstein (the free multiplayer, I never played the campaign, which was a separate thing)
    • Warcraft 2 (player created maps were fun too)
I also had alot of fun with flash games, too bad they are all dead now...
