Question Japanese themed novels getting popular in Raw Novel Sites?

    Well as an old reader in qidian I found myself discovering something so the thing is I've been noticing lately if not a year ago japanese themed novels appearing in small quantities in qidian at first I was surprised seeing that in the midst of nationalist novels in qidian a single insignificant amount of this genre appeared with a thought perhaps someone is just testing the waters I ignored it then later on I was totally shocked the impossible happened although small but it's growing is this perhaps a sign that a new genre/trend is appearing or is it just a short lived one?

    I don't know man. They're always kinds of rip off of newest trends from Japanese web novels but with typical Chinese twists.

    I think it's a trend, and will gradually increase and appear in chinese webnovels, becoming a normal part of it. Because it works and becomes popular when these novels nail it. Just like how eastern elements and themes work for english webnovels.

    I think Yagoo means stuff like LTBE if I'm correct.

    I don't know about this being either a trend or something new. Chinese novels have been doing this a long time - it's pretty much the entire reason why SFACG exists, and you can see anime references in all sorts of books. Hell, terms like "loli" have entered the popular Chinese lexicon so it's just about everywhere now.
