Lost Japanese movie/drama, please please please help me

I can't remember if it was a drama or a movie

-The story was that this Japanese high school girl, I think she found an old phone that allowed her to communicate with this other Japanese guy
-I can't remember if once you turn the phone on they could communicate through each others head
-They were both in Japan, but in different time zones
- they planned to meet up one day
- I think the guy was mute
- he pushes her out the way of a car the day they were supposed to meet, but her time zone was ahead so she got a text(thought?) from him that he was almost there, and she realized it was him that saved her
She didn't want him to die, so she was trying to get him to not save her

Please help me google keeps giving me a frickin a slient voice even though i frickin said the GUY WAS MUTE
Also its not "My tomorrow, Your Yesterday either"

I'm 10000% sure it is not that, no where even close
I don't know if it's an anime, but I watched it with human actors playing the characters
They do not go to the same school
They communicate to each other from long distance
They've only met once, which is the meet up where the accident happens
It's not a recent show/ movie either, I've watched this a long time ago
