What's up with Active translations website, I can't open any of their links. It's saying to stop using proxies when I am not even using them in the first place. Somebody, please inform the group or tell me their email or something.
Anyone having trouble posting comments on active translation? I've tried with both of my devices pc and phone to no avail
Just checked, works fine for me and I have the noscript addon with no permissions set to trusted. Maybe it's your browser?
I tried opening with different devices and even tried using proxies or vpns to counter balance it. Nothing works, even tried asking a friend to open it, He got the same message. Shit I can't even post the fucking link because it's my first post.
I've been facing the same issue for over a month now. I spoke to @Active_Translations , apparently some countries have been blocked. Dunno when it's going to get fixed
it's a htaccess problem, When they blocked countries some of the IP ranges , IP from other devices may be included. If you go to your device settings there is an Ip provided, your device Ip must be the same from the blocked one. .htaccess can't diferentiate devices ip or ip that posses the same code. Once it is written they will just do according to the function written. It's either they have copied pasted the one from the code provider in blocking countries or they did manually. I am more leaning on copy paste cause just by blocking korean IP there were at least 100+ ip ranges. If you want to request them that they whitelist your IP... It may become a troublesome work.
Is there any other solution other than asking them to whitelist? I have already asked them to do something about it but they said they have more important work to do related to the website.
Either change your Ip, device, wifi provider or change country that it isn't part in their blocked countries.
This works without all that proxy/vpn mess - 1.) Google Wayback Machine ( archive.org/web ), then paste and search the exact link of the chapter of the novel in Active Translations that you want to read. There will be a snapshot/webpage of the chapter (if it's not premium). 2.) If there is no snapshot (of the non-premium chapter), simply manually save it by yourself by copying the chapter link and saving the link in Wayback Machine save option ( web.archive.org/save )( or just scroll down to bottom of their home page, there's a save option there ). Takes 10 seconds, and now you can read as a snapshot/webpage in banned countries without VPN.
You can try Tor Browser method: Start up Tor, Goto activetranslations.xyz, Refresh the tab a few times, If you still aren't able to acess the site, Restart Tor and repeat the above steps.
