Synopsis:

Asakura Rensuke is a Knight Candidate, who wore a honor student’s mask, that protects Japan from a natural threat called ‘Radiant Beasts’ using an Iron Steel Knight, which he pilots better than anyone else.

One day, from the top of a tree, he was suddenly jumped upon by a dark elf named Sheena— a ‘gyaru’ high school student… who has been reincarnated from another world.

She has a provocative attitude, lecherous speech, and a bright, sunny smile. Rensuke took Sheena as one of his family members and starts living with her in an apartment, soon getting caught up in a battle royale for survival among magical species that have been reincarnated from other worlds.

This is the mythical apocalypse story of two people who have fallen out of the world.

TL;DR: A reverse isekai with a dark elf gyaru in a modern world who pilots mechas.

Why It Should Get Picked Up: I believe any novel series that tries an original idea or combination deserves a look. Sci-fi mecha series are a common genre these days, and we've got several series like 'Infinite Stratos' and 'Hundred' that have high-schoolers in a romcom setting piloting mecha.

But what if you add Reverse Isekai, Fantasy Races and Gyarus to the mix? Then you get this fairly unique premise.

Plus it has some of the most gorgeous art I've ever seen in a light novel!

Unfortunately it seems this has been dropped. :'(

Would someone be interested in picking it up? I don't think there's any other manga that combines reverse Isekai, sci-fi and mecha battles.

So far there are 4 volumes of the LN. The translations from the old group are near the end of Vol 2.
