When I opened my eyes while cooking ramen, I woke up as the Queen's maid who was treated coldly by the King in the BL novel where the King was gay, the concubine was gay, the knight was gay, the servant was gay, and the librarian was gay.

Will she be able to survive safely after becoming an ordinary maid, Ash, who has no main character buffs?

    How will the maid survive!

    The Endings:
    !! Warning !!
I'm sure you are aware, this is the Spoilers Section!
That being said, all information in this section are Completely End Game Material. As the story is more or less a mystery, finding out stuff about the characters and the nuances of the story is kind of part of the fun. If you still don't care you may happily proceed and open up all the tabs.

**Extra Disclaimer: As of Oct 13 2020, all Endings Spoilers are taken from the last chapters of the Kakaostory Webnovels + Some of the Epilogues. They do not contain information from the body of the main story as I am following the Manhwa progression. If you have Spoilers that cover other details, feel free to post them in the @Spoiler Curator posts or give me a shout :3!

Ash/Yoojin gets a really sudden opportunity to return home thanks to the events of the final fight.

Despite hesitating on leaving due to her passionate romance with Klein, the critically injured Mio who had sword to be her Knight to the ends of the earth and the always confessing Ciel who does everything in his power to help her all the time, all three men prioritizes her feelings, knowing she was painfully homesick this whole time and had wept about being unable to return home in the past.

As it is unknown when it is that they would find such an opportunity again, Yoojin is assured she should return home and she does so.

She arrives in Korea and no time had passed in her world, and the Ramen she was boiling has not bloated. It also seems Klein has followed her home.
Actually, it is a harem Ending!

The rest of the conclusion happens in the Epilogue / Side Stories.

Right after Yoojin portals back home, Klein follows behind her, leaving his title and family behind.

Mio who is critically injured at first seemed to be at deaths door while Ciel assures Klein he would follow once he had reared the baby prince into adulthood, taking his place as the next Grand Magician (Baby Mikael is basically a clone of Yurigel, and thus has the same magic potential and ageless immortality).

In the Epilogues it is shown that Mio had made it through and has been looking after the child prince with Ciel for 20+ years. The two bicker like a married couple, with Ciel often being the worrywart mother who has broken a couple of Mio's ribs in the past when the latter teaches more dangerous activities to the young prince. Neither men have married, even with Mio inheriting Klein's Swordmaster title and is adopted into his family to carry on as Duke Capella. Both men seem to have Yoojin in their thoughts all this time, going even as far as choosing bride candidates (For the King) who have a vague resemblance to her, though with totally different personalities.

Ciel would leave his world to find Yoojin/Klein before Mikael has chosen himself a bride. Mio chooses to stay behind. Unlike Ciel, a Grand Mage who can remain forever young, Mio has aged in those 20+ years and is in his 40s. Ciel upon arriving in Korea finds Yoojin and Klein easily enough, but while his appearance is mostly the same, his age was reflected in his eyes. He catches them up on the happenings in the novel world since they've left.

Ciel and Klein would later try to propose to Yoojin together with flowers and a ring after she gets off work, but the magic (literally) of the moment is shattered, ruining the proposal and the two men bicker. She brings them back home and asks them if she is expected to choose between the two of them- but given the circumstances, both men had left everything behind to be with her, with no hopes of going back. It is unknown how the aging process would be for the three of them, which a high likelihood that Ash would grow old and die before either MLs. She chooses to accept both of their proposals and live together.

In the very final chapter of the Epilogues, Mio is hit with an arrow and actually dies for real in the novel world. Before he does, he enters a strange dream world and meets Ash, who came to see him. Not a lot of time has past in her own world compared to his, so she apologizes that she didn't visit more often, as such a thing would have likely caused troublesome dimensional rifts (according to Ciel). Ash informs him that Klein is thriving in the new world, and Ciel is having a more difficult time with it. Mio thinks it surprising and assumed it would have been the other way around. Ash agrees.

Ash would eventually ask Mio if he is ready to come with her to her world. Before Mio answers in the webnovel, they are bathed in a bright light. It is assumed he says yes.
The whole plot of the story, Yurigel's current body is corrupted. Prince Mikael is actually a clone of Yurigel, and was meant to be born as a Soulless husk, via a Soul Transfer magic activated using the magic circle under the Queen's Palace.

By the Final Battle, Yurigel and Evans would kill the crown prince of the Empire (The Emperor's Son), beheading him, to utilize the Dragon Blood Mana from his veins to power another Soul Transfer attempt. As his first attempt was accidentally thwarted by Astrid, the previous Ash before Yoojin was switched in, he needs to kill Yoojin to activate the magic again. It is also revealed that King Evans knew everything about Yurigel from the start, which is why Prince Mikael is named after Yurigel, whose real name is also Mikael.

Evans didn't JUST know. He actively assures Yurigel this is a good idea when Yurigel starts to worry that the plan may fail. King is totally on board with the idea of seeing his lover grow up (*Dies* DXDX)

Ash would manage to escape as the ML's hold him off and fight. Yurigel would ultimately lose, the corruption having expanded out of his heart, over his chest and face, looking like festering, tumorous veins. Though still alive, the beauty he was famous for was nowhere to be seen.

King Evans is forced to abdicate, and is captured / sent off to the Empire as war prisoners. Nobody has ever seen them since.
In the original Novel 'The Escape', The Queen is accused of using Black Magic in order to become pregnant. This accusation is lead by Cesar Kasik, which bring ruin to her entire family. The Queen would be under house arrest for the rest of her life and die of illness.

In her new ending, not a great deal is changed

There is actually a lot of merit to this accusation. The Nanny is absolutely a Black Magic user, and in the currently released Manhwa chapters, the Queen knew about her magic usage as well. In the Astrid/Cesar Epilogues, it is shown that the Nanny (Who was also once the Queen's Nanny and loves her dearly) likely worked with the King and Yurigel hoping to raise the Queen's status and help her get an heir. As of yet, it's unknown if she knew the full extent of the plan.

After escaping Yurigel, Ash arrives in the Queen's Palace to find the Magic Circle had activated and was readying to explode. While everyone is evacuating the building, she goes to save the forgotten Baby Mikael, and though she rationalizes to herself that the Queen had evacuated as well, she checks on the Queen just in case to find her fragile figure by the window refusing to budge. At this point the Queen is depressed and borderline suicidal by the events that have transpired through the story.

Ash doesn't allow her to stay behind. As they run, the Queen's heels break making it difficult to go on, but Ash gives her the boots she was wearing, assuring her that her socks are thick enough to brave the snow outside. Ash really hopes that even if the Queen does die of illness, that maybe in living a little longer, she might roll some pleasant days between the bad.

They escape just before the explosion, and Ash would last see her bundled up together with the other Maids, as Ciel arrives to take her to see Mio- as well as send her back home.

In the Epilogue, after the explosion the Queen is moved to a different Palace. The old Palace is never rebuilt. It's not elaborated as to whether the Queen is put under house arrest / accused of using black magic / has her family brought to ruin by Cesar who was there at the scene to grimace over the Queen's survival, but she lives the rest of her days quietly, hardly noticeable to anyone. She dies before Mikael reaches 10 years old. As she loved walks in the garden, the last palace she resided in was filled with beautiful flowers in her memory, which were maintained even after her death, becoming a famed site.
Thanks to the shit King Evans and Yurigel pulled, the Empire would annex a great deal of their land, weakening the country's power considerably. Baby Mikael is crowned King despite being a toddler and the state of things is held together by Mio and Ciel who become his guardians.

The fallout is bad enough that as an adult, King Mikael has trouble finding himself a wife, as eligible daughters from Nobles and the Empire were no longer saving themselves to marry a King, knowing what happened to the last Queen. Despite it all, those around Mikael loved him dearly, and he loved them back just as much.

After both his guardians (Mio and Ciel) chose women resembling his Nanny as bride candidates, Mikael is a little disappointed that they hadn't considered he would have his own type. Despite rejecting their choices and remembering nothing of the Nanny they spoke so fondly of, Mikael's 'Type' is a woman with straight, long, silky hair. (Baby Mikael use to always play with Ash's hair X'D)

At some point, Mikael asks Seiya if he remembers Ash. He tries, but he couldn't remember her face at all. Seiya who loved the Queen dearly, never got married and continued to work for her until she passed.

In the final chapter of the Epilogues, Mikael is last seen being held by his white haired Queen, with him as a never aging King.
Cesar is Klein's half brother, and a relative of the Queen. His mother ran off with Klein's father and as he is related to the Queen through his mother's side, he hated her when they were children and always fought with her / looked unhappy to see her.

As a child, this irritated the Queen to be, who didn't understand why he treated her with such contempt. Unable to stand it anymore, she rides a horse over his leg, crushing it to "Give him something to hate her about", leaving him partially crippled into adulthood.
In the Epilogues it is shown that Cesar was the one who picked up Astrid when she was an orphan in the streets. He also gave her a name + is the owner of the initialed pen she carries. She is then given as a maid and playmate to his half sister, whom he also despised as she seemed to always take what was his. The young lady is friends with Queen to be (Who use to follow her around), and later Klein Capella falls in love with her and becomes her fiance. This engagement would end upon her death.

After his sister's death, Cesar is married and becomes head of his estate. He picks up Astrid a second time after some years, during which Astrid felt alone and forgotten by everyone as soon as her lady passed. He sends her to the Queen's Palace to work as a spy and maid, using her 'credentials' as a maid to Cesar's sister, even if she hadn't any experience with chores (She was mostly a playmate).

She is sent to find evidence of a Magic Circle under the Queen's Palace. She was meant to report back to him as soon as she finds it. After tailing the Queen's Nanny (a Black Magic user) who is fretting over the Queen needing to birth a son, she eventually finds entry to the basement.

Being terrible at needlework, her blood makes contact with the Magic circle somehow and on the birth of the baby prince, her Soul is taken instead. Cesar never finds out what has truly happened to the Astrid he knew.

New chapter is a bit slower on events

Night Time again. Mio & Ciel are sleeping, as is Ash with the baby. At least it seemed like it.

She can't sleep. After waking up and wandering for a few nights, she isn't quite sure how long she's been rolling about in bed. She wonders if the Queen is wandering around alone in the empty rooms again and gets out of bed.

Lighting a candle, she notices the shawl the Queen had given her the night before and puts it on before leaving the room. She's not sure if the Queen would be out there but goes to check anyway.

This night, the moon isn't out and it's pretty dark. Ash recalls the other Maid talking about how the rumors of ghost wanderings have become two instead of one. That's just how the story goes...
As she snickers at the thought, she comes across Sir Alex again. He points her to the balcony where the Queen is sitting outside.

She finds the Queen sitting alone quietly, in a white dress and tiara. As Ash nears she asks "Do you also yearn for the night to come?"

"Hoping for the Day to be Night, and wishing the mornings can be erased, I understand that kind of feeling your highness." The Queen is a little surprised, and smiles happily at Ash's answer. Ash smiles back, then gives her the shawl she had received the night before. It is cold your highness.

The Queen tells he she is such a good hearted girl, but Ash questions that internally. Not at all, she's not a good girl at all. If she were, she would learn to love the baby prince, and wouldn't lie to Klein either, instead of telling him she's an amnesiac and rather she is someone from far away. That and for the Queen who is in such a circumstance, she would have acted proactively in her favor. All she is doing is the bare minimum actions. How can anybody tell her she is good hearted?

She asks the Queen how long it's been since she's started to have difficulty speaking. The Queen answers, it was after Nanny was taken. Ash thinks it's been about 2 months since then and holds out her hand to her, telling her she's found a way to the basement.

The Queen smiles brightly, and says she can resume her treasure hunt together tonight.

As Ash walks her from the balcony back inside, she tells her to watch her step as it is dark inside.

Chapter ends with Queen saying "Let me tell you a secret. For a long time ago now, I've been walking through a dark abyss where I cannot see beneath my feet."

Chapter's a bit dark. Vague but a lot implied about how Queen conceived her child.
    Warnings ahead.

Ash considers how every other character she knows is having a difficult time, and the only ones happy in this kingdom seems to be Yurigel and the King Evans only.

Ash brings Queen to the room they were searching before.

Ash asks the Queen about how she's doing with Lady Kasik. Queen says it's natural for the biological sisters to meet, but Ash oversteps a bit into personal territory when she asks about how the Duchess always had a bad look on her face when she leaves. Ash feels bad because she asked the first thing that popped into her head because she was nervous about the dark. The Queen answers that the Duchess has been married for 3 years now and has many things to worry about.

Ash thinks, Ah, so Lady Kasik has been married for 3 years. However it is strange that after the son/heir to the king was born, the sister didn't visit once in the early months. Normally if the Queen's faction was weak, this would be the time to raise their power.

They reach the spot to teleport to the basement from. Ash recalls asking Ciel if she would need to chant a spell. He asks where she learned such crude rumors and tells her to envision the place she wants to go to with all her might while holding the gem. She excuses herself and holds the Queen tightly and does as instructed.

Surely enough they reach the basement and find themselves before an enormous magic circle drawn in blood which freaks Ash out. She thinks she's been having it rough this whole time but seeing this blood Magic Circle really puts things into perspective. She really misses her mom.

In the center is a bed for two. The Queen recognizes this place. She's been in this room before. Ash asks if she drew it but Queen denies it. The Magic circle was drawn by the Nanny and Him. What he drew, Nanny simply copied. Ash asks who "He" is. Over there (By the bed) He stood with her while over there (Outside the magic circle) the Nanny and Him stood and watched.

From her vague recollection Ash deduces that the Queen had been in this room with two men and Nanny. The Queen continues, Nanny was worried about her position, being childless after marriage. A powerless queen who couldn't even bear a child, this upset Nanny because it meant she was future-less. Queen turns to Ash and asks, what could she have done? Living in a world like this, what else could she have done?

    Hi!
So i just came back from the old spoiler thread and just wanted to confirm some things.

    1) So Klein and Yoojin came back to the real world at the same time?
    2) there are 2 copies of a person: one in the novel world and one in the real world, however, they are different souls? So Yoojin's soul went to Ash's body, however, Ash's soul died. So I guess Yoojin's body was just on standby cooking that ramen till Yoojin came back? The whole 2 bodies but the same person kind of confused me
    3) Ciel, despite 20 years passing by, remained youthful due to his magic and when he went to the real world, only 4 months had passed right? So, does that mean he is no longer immortal as his soul would have gone to his alternate world counterpart body which is human? Also where do the souls of Klein and Ciel's counterpart go? (Yoojin's soul was the real world's so at the end, it just went back to its rightful home so I guess the latter question doesn't apply to her)
    4) Someone said in the last page of the old thread that Mio's final FINAL ending was he died since he was struck by an arrow at like 40 years old and Yoojin appeared in his dying dream being like you ready to come to my world but it was cut off before he could answer? Should readers assume he just passed and this was a hallucination
    5) Final question, how old are the characters in the main story roughly? In the beginning, Eugene mentions spending "most of her 20's" without a partner

Thank you! Sorry, it's so long hahah

I hope when Mio faced the end of his life, he would really met Ash / yoojin. and that's not an illusion of his last hope. because from the start, I supported Mio as ML.

    Eyy!
    Sorry guys was on a bit of a holiday break. I'll update the later chapters a bit later. So far the story's been a bit slow on the manhwa front though;;

    1) Yes, but while Yoojin was more a soul transfer, I'm guessing Klein/Ciel was a full reverse isekai since Klein just shows up inside her house :'D
    2) Yoojin's world moves at a different pace to the book world, so hardly any time has passed when she gets back home (Her Ramen is safe!). After Yoojin leaves the book world, she leaves Astrid's body behind, and since nobody came back it seems Astrid is dead and never went to Yoojin's world.
    3) I think it's unknown if the immortality / longevity is a problem. It's why Yoojin decides not to pick between the two and decides to love them both, since it's entirely possible that they would outlive her completely, leaving them stranded in her world. I don't entirely know how much magic Ciel could still perform. There seems to be some things he could still do but it's really wonky. He also manages to send Yoojin Back into the book world to retrieve Mio on his death day so......yeah.
    4) I think it's open to interpretation, but it's more likely that he went to Yoojin's world for the harem ending since there is no way for him to know there is a time difference between the two worlds otherwise. Mio's actually really popular with the fans, and while the extra stories were going on there was a lot of tears and begging for him to see Yoojin again. Same time it's a bit hard to imagine seeing as again, Klein and Ciel seemed to have transferred over completely. That would make Mio a still dying 40+ year old man transferred over... unless it's just a soul transfer? So yeah, it's up for interpretation X'D
    5) Only one I'm really clear about is Mio who is in his 20s? Klein is likely older and Ciel I'm unsure.

Thank you so much for answering my questions! I didn't know that Klein also had longevity/immoratlity? I assumed it was just Ciel since he was magic man lol and also since Mio aged normally, I assumed Klein would too. Did she mention that difference in lifespan being the reason for why she didn't love one man?

Had to reconfirm by finding the chapter :'D (For reference it was in 171 in the novels, part of the Epilogue/Side Stories)

I am pretty sure Ciel can use magic in the new world, though it seems really inconsistent since he accidentally made a faulty ring.

From reading, it looks like there is no actual confirmation yet as to how much effect there is, but since Ciel and Klein came through rather than just should transfer, Ciel might still be immortal and Klein being a Sword Master is indestructible (Don't know what this means about life span though) but even if they don't confirm anything, Yoojin thinks it is very likely they will both outlive her.

As for WHY she doesn't choose:
    • She's sympathetic to their foreigner status. Having been transmigrated before into an unknown world, she knows how lonely and strange it is, and both men basically dropped everything to be with her (They can't go back to their original lives cus of the time difference)
    • She confirms she does love them both in different ways. Klein is the most obvious and romantic one (Before leaving to get back to her world, she ran into his arms and they kissed) but Ciel was the first to figure out that she's from a different world and really allowed her to open up.
    • Lastly because she thinks there is a high likelihood they will both outlive her. What happens to them when she passes away? She wants to be family for the both of them who sacrificed so much. Even if the two guys don't really get along (Funny cus they both get along with Mio LOL) she wants them to consider treating each other as family as well.

Thank you so much for going back to the novel to confirm!
This explains a lot too hehe thank you
It's kinda surprising she thinks they'll both outlive her since at least Klein seems to age normally (I think...Mio does for sure bcs i think they mentioned his grey hair in the epilogue) but then again, they come from a world of magic so you never know...
I hope Yoojin is at least happy with her harem and at least one of them have similar lifespans so she isn't old by herself :(
Also, where did you read the novel?
