Question Demon’s Virtue - does anyone understand it? (Possible spoiler)

Started to read Demon’s Virtue, and it appeared pretty interesting, but then when the party of 3 and the imp reach the magical merchant, after a confusing scene, the party is killed by the merchant (that’s in fact a monster whose mouth open in his belly).

i thought at first, ok, the author is making us see the scene by the imp eyes, that is ignorant of the world.

However, a few chapters later, the imp pass the night into an aleatory town and somehow the town turn itself into a demon town of the seven sins... wtf?

Does the randomly events have a point or it’s just a bad script?

 

Hi. I understand what you mean. The scene is confusing, but it's eventually explained. I'd say that from the Seven Sins Arc onward, there are no more confusing scenes.

And when the events are explained, you'll understand what's going on.
