For those who are complaining with the story, have you not read that the MC is the one forcing herself to be loved by the ML. The ML’s character here is just natural. It happens in real life. Just look at Hailey Bieber, she finally got her love.
Unpopular opinion but the mc is really dumb. Shes basically forcing her feelings on him, knowing he like someone else, and yet act like the victim when he doesn't reciprocate her feelings. Either you wait until he get over Hestia or dont marry him. He never lied to her, and never told her that he loved her (yet). So anything that happens to her is basically her fault
I read somewhere about some kind of toxic relationship. It says that, when a person just got heartbroken, NEVER NEVER step into his/her life to "cure" her/him with your overflowing love. Often they will turn you down, but they might say yes to you too. But starting a relationship right after getting hesrtbroken is not healthy as they are actually using you as some sort of a place to escape from their painful wounds and use you. In the end, you're the one who will be getting hurt. If you really do love someone that badly, give them some time, and let themselves be cured by themselves. You can give them support like words of encouragements and such, but don't ever jump into a relationship. Only when they really got themselves up again and able to stand on their own, then only you can proceed to test your luck with them. . . . My comment turned out to be a relationship advice when I myself never had one
Yeah what she did was dumb but she didn’t know he still liked Hestia when she first got engaged to him. she thought he got over her and in the latest chapters she made the right choice and decided to break the engagement, and when he told her he cant respond to her feelings she told him it’s ok. still... she was kind of annoying lol
Honestly, she kinda SHOULD have known that he wouldn't get over Hestia so quickly. I mean, it's a romance novel. Where he's the secondary male lead. Who's entire character is "only sincere & gentle towards the heroine & no one else". Aka literally the kind of dude who'd pine after her forever even past the book epilogue. I mean that's literally what those types of characters are like. The MC was too blinded by the side of him that only Hestia gets to see & forgot that, yeah, she's NOT Hestia, so of course he wouldn't live up to her expectations. It's like falling for a seemingly hardworking serious coworker who turns out to be a total slob of a salted fish at home alone. Sometimes the gap is moe, but here for MC, it's not. :>
Since chapter 86 was posted on Jan 1, chapter 87 will be available for free tomorrow (Jan 4), my time (GMT+9). I have noticed that chapters are available every 3 or 4 days after the last one posted. So, chapter 87 will be available on Jan 4, then chapter 88 on Jan 8, and so on...

Yup, that's why you should never meet your fictional husbandos. I mean I'd simp for yandere villains & edgelords with tons of emotional baggage but I would absolutely NEVER want to be with someone like that IRL. Or even be friends with them. That sounds incredibly emotionally taxing &, depending on the genre, possibly crazy dangerous.
Chapter 88 is out. (So they update at 10.30, GMT+9.) Richt got the lock of hair and the ransom letter. He recognized that it was Peony's hair right away. Seems like Richt doesn't have the cash (3 million) for her ransom but he's looking into selling his other assets. He'll personally rescue Peony, he says.

Argh I'm so mad with MC. I was once fall in love with a man and I think I was quite stupid back then but I think what MC did in this novel is... gosh my braincells are trembling. I wish the ML is the 2ML.
