    I just want a novel where the MC doesn't have to fall in love and just cares about her child. She's raising her child as a single mother, but a man doesn't have to come into her life and help her. The ML (if he exists) could just be friend-zoned or something. It really annoys me when halfway through a story the MC hooks up with some rich, domineering guy, as if to say a woman can't properly raise a child by herself. :mad:

    TBH, none of the above options really appeal to me. I'd prefer a feel good hetero romance b/w consenting adults who act their age. An FMC confident in her own skin and can take care of herself and an ML who treats her right would be highly appreciated.

    Ummm, I like powerful FL but I haven't read My Fake Brother ( I actually prefer stories like Male God, Shine Bright!, Heroine Saves a Gentleman, and equal couples like I have the aura of overbearing president, and Saving The Regent.)

    No romance is good? I genuinely prefer such stories. If not, I generally prefer yuri over het as het casts annoying gender roles and stereotypes

    I like to see Chinese novels with time travels back to when the MC is still young, and modern setting. The ones being translated rn are mostly from SK.
