Resolved Can't log in to main site

For some reason, I can log into the forums fine, but it says Invalid username, email address or incorrect password whenever I try to log into the main site. I tried resetting my password, but that didn't fix it.

 

I am also having this issue

 

Change your password on the forum. Avoid special characters to be safe.

Edit: It seems a leftover problem from NUF being down for ~9hrs.

Changing the password doesn't fix NU login like it once did.

*Confirming* Loggout out to test it and cannot log back in.

I have the same problem, I logged out because I was trying to fix some problems with my internet and cleaned cookies and cache files, I did fix my internet problems but now I cant loggin on main site, already tried changing password and it doesn't work, does anyone have any news on this problem?

 

I tried to log in from a new device, but can't, when saying lost password it redirects me to the forum site, where I could change my password and log in, but that's it.... still can't log in on the main site
but somehow I'm glad to see that it apparently isn't my fault ^^'
but on my other device I'm still logged in and I don't get thrown out there either...

The past few days, I have a hard time login into the main page.
It always says wrong password and I keep repeating it until it says "account blocked for 12 hours (or so)", then strangely, it finally logged in after that. (and I'm not getting blocked whatsoever).

Is that something that happened only to my account? does anyone else having the same problem?

It happened to me just now. I'm still locked out of the main NovelUpdates site. For some reason, the exact same password (that I have never changed) won't work on the NU site, but works on the Forum. It says my account is locked for 12 hours. I've had trouble logging in since last night.

 

Did you change your username at any point?
Does your password contain special characters?

 

It still happens to me, but the funny thing is... I just keep on trying (even when it says my account has been blocked for 12 hours) and at one point it will log in and nothing was blocked. Weird.
