I've read a lot of novels where the mc is supposedly millions of years old but acts like a baboon in heat so I would like a story where the protagonist is an old person and acts his age. Basically a shrewd, intelligent and scheming person and also an apathetic or maybe kindhearted but not where he goes saving everyone. Dosen't matter the genre, preferably if the they don't have morals. Please let there be no romance. Examples of what type of main character I want, Fang Yuan (doesn't need to be evil but scheming and logical at least). Examples of what type of main character I don't want. Li Qiye from emperor's domination. (has like 14 former lovers and concubines idk just don't like him, no offence to those who do) Thanks!
Asking for another Fang Yuan is like asking to see another peerless, heavenly beauty. Except in this case, there aren't another seventeen the author wrote in with more or less the exact same description. Best I can come up with at the moment is Isaac. He isn't really "millions of years old," but he doesn't think with his dick, so that's probably a plus in your book. Dungeon Defense has a cunning protagonist, but there's romance. Well, if you can even call it that. Also MC is not like geezer old. Genjitsushugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki has a less amoral protagonist, but there is romance. But compared to other JP MCs, he isn't spoon-fed his powers as much.
Martial Arts Master -you can see every step he takes as he matures Awakening -no one translating it now though plus the old TLer did a.... less than stellar job imho Star Rank Hunter -though not old, quite mature MC 48 Hours a Day -same as the above mentioned Release that Witch Edit: All these MC’s are young except the one from awakening but even then he’s mere a thousand years old but is still more mature than those that cultivated for billions of years

Up this one, a grandfather in youth body that only want to pursue his long lost passion of composing. Top recommend! MC totally acted like a skeptical adult that only looking for a very stable life. It was unlike other turn back time novels that usually has the MC more passioned to reach their dreams. The story is mainly about acting and slice of life. The MC was smart and scheming but in a good way. There's romance tho and especially strong in second half, around chapter 700+. It's loyal romance, not harem. Sadly, it has the tragedy tag.
