I’m looking for sad novel/manhwa/anything where MC is sad, lonely, or depressed. so the novel doesn’t really have to be with a depressed MC, just it should show how the MC is sad or lonely, has a tragic past, is depressed/suicidal, tired, or is just alone. whatever genre it is (comedy, drama, action) it should make you sad by reading it. I’m just in the mood to read something sad. or something that has angst. also I would really like it if it was a sad MC but got a good ending. because some bad endings really got me. tragic pasts are also fine.

The (short) stories by Fafoo (aka Sugaru Miaki). Quite a few of them got manga adaptations. I read Azure and Claude a few years back and enjoyed it quite a bit, one day that I felt pretty empty.
How to survive as a villain It might be what you're looking for if you're okay with BL. The story starts off with MC's suicide then it gets really angsty later on. The MC is a bit suicidal and the misunderstanding between MC and ML made the story really sad. They were separated again and again while thinking the other party really hate them T.T Certain characters' tragic fates can also make you really sad... But you'll eventually get a good ending!
The Lazy Swordmaster- the mc is super traumatized that he actually given up his life even though, he actually have a way to live. Crown of Thorns- the mc too, already given up on life to the point that she committed suicide everyday. But she can't die. Well, she's immortal of sorts.
Oh~ bl. Then how about~ Boss’s Death Guide- ml is the second last person on Earth and died from infection, hunger, or maybe from lost of blood from his injuring. Mc on the other hand, lives three days more after the ml died, making him the last human on earth and then suddenly came back on the day of apocalypse. He's suicidal okay. But, not to the point of seeking it. He just given up on life and like a quick and easy relief. Reborn as a Good Child- mc died tragically and then reborn from n years ago. It's psychological novel. Mc tried killing himself many times and even almost succeeded. The Villain Has Something to Say- this one is a tragedy, alright. Ohh~ don't want to. I cried in this. Heroic Death System- this one is a true tragedy. Let's kill mc Everytime and come back to have a HE. If it's only sad depressing and tragedy, don't recommend those scum Shou and Gong. Well you know what those nocs are. With mc playing around. What to Do When I Become a Koi and Fall into the Male God’s Bathtub- oh men. This is also a sad and depressing novel, well at the start. I didn't finished reading this. But in the end they have HE. Mo Dao Zu Shi- is also a tragedy. But the ending is sho hot, it makes your face heat up. Hehehe. The Husky and His White Cat Shizun- this one, mc, well our gong killed himself and home back to the past. Anyways, let's just cheer for our ml and mc to the side. This novel will surely make you cry. Huhuhu.

Death Is The Only Ending For The Villainess (Isekai Manhwa) MC has really shitty brothers who treat her like shit and gets bullied at school. Once she turns into an adult and manages to escape from all that, she enters a game world and has to go through the (more or less) same terrible experience as before. I actually shed a few tears while reading this. Highly recommend!
