I read an article recently talking about sentence rhythm and had to include the idea in my translator & editor lesson thread as it's something not always actively thought of that can easily get past our consideration. Is there anything you see almost never mentioned, or have never heard of, that you feel is a writing skill?

These are high-end magical techniques and only comes with experience and "talent." You don't really actively thought about them and you can't really copy others. Only with mileage with you naturally acquire them. They are also subjective and therefore has little to no guideline.
